She may only be young, but Chloe Moretz certainly knows how to pack a punch when it comes to style.

Putting most older actresses to shame, the 16-year-old stepped out in New York in not one, but two spot on fashion looks on Wednesday night.

While the young star may play a girl with terrifying special powers in new film Carrie, she proved she has style superpowers too - first on the set of Jimmy Fallon and then heading to the MTV studios with her near constant companion brother Trevor.

The Hit Girl star managed to wear leather two very different ways first wearing a skirt for her television appearance and then swapping out into a pair of fashion forward leather pants.

Looking a million dollars and channeling MTV's rock music past, Chloe donned a pair of wet look leather pants - which were cropped perfectly at the ankle - with a grunge blue flannelette shirt and a matching shinny leather jacket.

The actress accessorised the look with a pair of on trend strappy open toe heels and a Chanel bag.

Chloe was certainly feeling the couture vibe on Wednesday with her outfit for her Jimmy Fallon appearance combined some of fashion's biggest names.

Leaving the rocker look behind but continuing with her leather theme, the starlet wore a leather mini skirt with a double zip at the front from the re-imagined and more youthful Saint Laurent.

The 16-year-old teamed the skirt with a sheer polka shirt by the same label along with a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes.

As she arrived at the New York studio to chat about her latest movie Carrie with the former SNL star-turned-chat show host Chloe upped her designers with her Chanel bag and a green and black Jonathan Saunders blazer, from the designer's latest collection.

Proving she is one of Hollywood's most sought after young actresses, on Thursday it was announced that the 16-year-old will star in November's Criminals.

The film is based on a 2011 book by Sam Munson and will be directed by Hitchock's Sacha Gervas.

Set in Washington D.C. Chloe will play Phoebe against a yet to be named male lead who finds himself becoming obsessed with and investigating the murder of a classmate.

First however, Chloe is set to scare the world in the blood curdling Carrie remake.

Chloe reprises the role made famous by Sissy Spacek in Brian De Palma's 1976 adaption of Stephen King's first bestselling novel about a timid high school girl who develops telekinetic powers.

Chloe has admitted she hasn't actually watched the original Brian De Palma movie.

During the shoot, Chloë told Empire magazine: 'I deliberately haven't watched the original movie. I'm sure what Sissy Spacek and Brian De Palma did was phenomenal, but I didn't want to end up copying any performances.

'I wanted to make my Carrie come to life and not steal someone else's Carrie.'

Carrie is out in the U.S. on October 18th and in the UK on November 29th.
