Andy Roddick and his wife Brooklyn Decker have sold their mansion in Austin, Texas.

The sprawling lakefront home was listed for a whopping $12.5million at time of sale.

The 31-year-old retired tennis champion purchased the gorgeous real estate in 2009 just seven months after marrying his 26-year-old swimsuit model wife.

The idyllic property sits on 1.8 acres of prime real estate and is valued as the pair’s most expensive among their several homes, according to The Real Estalker.

 

It has been a busy year for Roddick and Decker who have bought two additional homes earlier this summer and sold another property prior to the Austin home.

The lakeside mansion is a gated property, offering its occupants a private view of the waterfront.

The former pro athlete’s accommodations are not lacking either with a refrigerator and a built in ice bath to help with recovery after grueling hours spent on the tennis court.

Not only is a there an additional guest house but the main structure also features upstairs bedrooms, each fitted with its own bathroom.

IT's nice... I have no idea why it's worth $12.5 million though. You can get a house in Malibu for that, and be on the ocean instead of some fishing pond in Texas 100's of miles away from anything resembling civilization.

He made all that money and he could not play tennis, all he used to do is hit the ball so hard which forced great skillful tennis players to just try and pick his serves. There was no tennis playing at all, he should have opted for baseball.
