Real Housewives Of Atlanta's Kim Zolciak wins bitter court battle after Kandi Burruss sues co-star for 'stealing her song'

Kim Zolciak's court case is over and she will be pleased with the results.

The judged ruled in favour of the former Real Housewives Of Atlanta star, who was sued five months ago by by her co-star Kandi Buress who claimed Kim owed her profits from the dance track Tardy To The Party.

Kim, 35, responded successfully with her own claim that Kandi, 37, had only posed the lawsuit as a publicity stunt, and the case is now out.

Kim - who continued to rise to reality stardom when she was given her own spinoff entitled Don't Be Tardy - had summoned Kandi's help on her dance track, Tardy To The Party.

But in 2012, Kandi went on to claim that Kim went ahead and sold the song 'without [her] authorisation, license or agreement,' TMZ is reporting.

Keeping it in the family, the Grammy Award winning songwriter - who previously wrote tracks such as Scrubs for TLC - was legally represented by Phaedra Parks who also starred on Real Housewives Of Atlanta.

From that point, each woman fiercely argued that they were in the right, with social media-loving Kim tweeting: 'Kandi tried to pull the song down in December on iTunes but after I showed documents and proved points, the song was immediately put back up.'

Kandi, on the other hand, blamed her own poor business management for missing out on what she believed to be a fair cut of the profits.

She said 'I hardly got anything from Tardy for the Party. That is the truth,' adding: 'I am not mad about it. I really blame myself because I didn't handle my business correctly.'

But it seems she changed her mind and decided to launch legal proceedings against her former Bravo co-star.

Kim, who is a mother to four children, tweeted all about it on Saturday, first proclaiming: 'The truth always prevails!'

The leggy blonde went on to elaborate: 'Revenge can be bitter sweet but if you sit back and watch karma it can be pure entertainment.'

Kim has a degree in nursing which she seemingly opted to sideline for a career in the limelight.

She is married to Atlanta Falcons player Kroy Biermann, and is currently heavily pregnant  with his twins.

Kandi was warned about Kim over and over but still foolishly gave her the benefit of the doubt.Now she can plainly see that she would have been wise to heed the warnings. Kim is a self promoting, self serving fame hound who would happily hook up with any man who had enough money to keep her in the style she's become accustomed to. Kroy is as dumb as they come but very fertile which is his undoing as she has him pinned down, financially for the foreseeable future. The judge in this case was a fool.

Kandi did her own self a disservice by not drawing up a contract from the beginning. She did all that work and Kim received majority of the money. If she really felt ripped off she should've sued her when the money from the song started coming in and she wasn' t getting paid. Kim totally ripped her off absolutely and she knew she did Kandi wrong. Hopefully this is a lesson to not only Kandi but everyone who is looking to exchange a service for monetary gain. You must make a contract.

Kandi didn't handle her business right because she thought it was a joke. She knew Kim couldn't sing, and she assume like the rest of us watching the show at the time that "Tardy for the Party" was gonna be an epic fail and everyone would have a good laugh at Kims expense. But its turns out the song was a success and once Kim started raking in the profits Kandi got a light bulb over her head.

As usual DM get things wrong...AGAIN! Kim has four children, 2 boys and 2 girls.She is expecting TWINS ie.2 babies.....2+2+2=6, NOT 5 as stated in the picture!
