It seems she stands out from the crowd even when trying to blend in.

For all eyes were on Katy Perry when she stepped out in a skimpy camouflage dress as she partied with boyfriend John Mayer in New York on Saturday night.

The saucy popstrel and her beau were heading to the Saturday Night Live afterparty in the Big Apple.

The 28-year-old looked in fine figure in her low-cut dress, string jacket with leather detailing and boots.

Musican John, 35, meanwhile went for a more laid-back look in a college sports jacket, shirt and jeans.

The pair were celebrating Katy's successful performance of Walking on Air and hit single Roar on the iconic comedy sketch show, which was hosted by action man Bruce Willis.

With the video for latter set in a jungle, Katy decided to bring the jungle to the stage, to the embarrassment of some of her band members.

While she got to look sexy in a tiny leopard print top and hotpants, which she paired with high heels, her band were more figures of fun in their own outfits.

Katy’s backing singers were dressed up an elephant and a crocodile, her keyboardists were a parrot and a monkey, the drummer donned a lion costume and the bemused looking guitarists donned zebra and giraffe costumes for her performance during the Bruce Willis hosted show.
