Just your average couple! Simon Cowell and pregnant girlfriend Lauren Silverman share tender moments at lunch and at the grocery store

Going for a drive, enjoying lunch and doing the shop are just a few of the average activities carried out by couples.

And that's how Simon Cowell and his pregnant girlfriend Lauren Silverman looked like on Saturday in Los Angeles.

But of course not everyone gets to dine at The Ivy, or drive a robust vintage Ford pick-up truck.

In a rush: Lauren is hurried out the house before she has time to put her heels on

Lauren appeared apprehensive a couple days ago, as she stepped out following news that her boyfriend had celebrated his birthday with an ex-girlfriend.

But the couple blatantly tried to move on from their troubles on Saturday, strategically choosing to have lunch at The Ivy, a Los Angeles hot spot that stars purposely visit if they want to be seen.

Yet, their sighting may have been a bit too planned, as Simon was snapped awkwardly kissing his pregnant girlfriend with his eyes wide open.

Meanwhile, Lauren, 36, appeared lost in the moment that she had hoped to be romantic, keeping her eyes shut as she leaned in towards her beau.

The pair were wearing sunglasses, so it couldn't have been easy to lock lips with their accessories interfering.

Still, Simon, 54, didn't appear too into the kiss, barely puckering his pout as the two embraced.

But at least Lauren wasn't concerned about Simon's former fling, locking hands with The X Factor judge and flirtatiously smiling at him when they came up for a breather.

Dressing up for her day date, the socialite sported a sheer, blush blouse adorned with lace around the collar.

She teamed the elegant shirt with a pair of skinny jeans and pointed, cap-toe pumps that coordinated with her blouse.

Simon stepped up his style game too, sporting a nice cotton blouse, designer denim trousers and black dress shoes.

Though, he could have gone without unbuttoning his shirt, which gave way to a little too much of his scruffy chest.

After leaving lunch, the couple was seen scouting coconuts, pineapples, and melons at Whole Foods Market.

Showing he's lucky to have such a fun girlfriend, Lauren looked like she attempted to make a joke about her melons.

But Simon was more concerned about his coconuts.

Meanwhile, the TV personality was spotted celebrating his 54th birthday at popular Los Angeles restaurant Sur on Monday evening in the company of old flame Terri Seymour.

Simon's unique ability to maintain close relationships with old girlfriends is well documented, but the multi-millionaire was in no mood to be recognised, as he sped away later that night.

His uncharacteristic shyness may well have had something to do with the Extra correspondent, whose bottom was seen cosily parked on his lap as the two enjoyed a laugh.

Simon's relationship with Lauren became public knowledge after it emerged she had fallen pregnant with his child.

She is also a parent to seven-year-old son Adam from her marriage to Andrew Silverman.

she looks like the typical lottery winner! she'll probably take the money for granted, make bad loans to friends, take investment advice from shysters and end up with nothing to show for it except one very large liability.

He's like really rolling his eyes behind his sunglasses while she kisses him. I'm sorry, but I feel like he is probably the ultimate narssacist. Fame does that to some people. Because, really, if you have no conscience or morals to begin with, then you acquire a crap-load of money...why would someone like him care for anything but his own desires? In his view, he has to answer to no one, really. It will be interesting to see how this all pans out...

They both are wearing the same clothes as they were in the most recent photos before these that we saw of them on DailyMail, except for her shoes. Unless her shoes were there and they were not highlighted. Probably highlighted this time because the only new piece of clothing either of them are wearing. Wonder what LS has on SC that he agreed to take time out from his "hectic schedule" to do this PR stunt for LS? LS needed this for a reason, come'on DailyMail, tell us, oh please, tell us. Maybe this is SC celebrating his birthday with LS this week? Sorry, could not help myself, like you say, "Suzie homemaker Lauren" so get the press attention at The Ivy, and go to the grocery store with "Suzie....." for your birthday celebration.
