Pete Wentz and his girlfriend Meagan Camper looked like they got their clothes out of the same closet as they took his son Bronx to lunch on Sunday.

Dressed in head-to-toe black, the couple of two years seem to be morphing into each other as they strolled through the parking lot of The Commons in the LA neighborhood of Calabasas where Keeping Up With The Kardashians is often filmed.

Good thing the rocker's son was there to brighten up the day in a sporty red-white-and-blue ensemble.

The threesome took in a late afternoon meal at Marmalade, which is a favorite dining spot of Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick.

They sat outside on the patio as Pete and Bronx enjoyed sandwiches while Megan nibbled on a large green salad.

'Pete and Megan looked like an old married couple and Bronx seemed to be their very own son that they had together, that's how close they all were - they even finished each other's sentences,' an eyewitness tells MailOnline.

'They stayed for over an hour and were very relaxed, like this was an extremely lazy Sunday,' the onlooker added.

After the lunch the little family walked through The Commons, window shopping at the outdoor mall's stores Williams-Sonoma and Polacheck's Jewelers.

'They didn't look like they were in a rush at all,' says the fellow shopper.

'Several times Pete reached for Meagan's hand, so there were times he hand Bronx in one hand and Meagan in the other. They appeared to be a very loving modern family.'

Meagan kept her biker leather jacket on as the clouds rolled in and it started to get cold.

She paired the tough looking garment with a dark grey T-shirt that had holes on the bottom and a pair of very tight black skinny jeans.

A black-and-grey skull print scarf, black Ray-Ban sunglasses and heavy black boots rounded out the look. But red manicured nails seemed to be out of place for her goth look.

Pete kept it simple in a dark grey T-shirt and black skinny jeans that hung low. Black-and-red high top sneakers and wild tattoos on his arms added a rocker vibe.

Bronx kept it sportier in a black-and-white Karate Kids shirt with blue basketball shorts.

Red and black Vans trainers with black socks made him appear ready for a skateboarding session.

He wore his long blonde locks down and curly.

His mother Ashlee has been spending time with her boyfriend Evan Ross lately, and celebrated her 29th birthday on October 5 in Atlanta with Liam Hemsworth who has been shooting a new installment of The Hunger Games nearby.

Earlier this year Pete talked to Rolling Stone magazine about his battle with drugs.

'I was probably physically and mentally addicted. It started from insomnia and anxiety from flying, then it spiraled,' he said, noting that his divorce from Ashlee took a toll on him.

'I felt like a loser already,' he added.

'I'd basically gone from being the guy in Fall Out Boy to being the guy, who, like, hangs out all day. I didn't see how I'd ever come out on the other side. I was scared of everything. I thought there were always people listening to me. Like, I had my house searched for bugs. It was crazy.'

A love for his son made him get therapy.

'You’re up in the morning, and you have to really be there,' he said of parenting.

'It’s not like getting up for a radio interview. In some ways, that was super helpful for my soul.'
