OCT. 1st to 31st -  COMMUNITY FOOD DRIVE
Serving our community and helping our neighbors in need!
Our goal - collect 1,000 lbs. of non-perishable food items.
Collection Sites:
Chamber office, 120 S. York Rd.
Hatboro Federal Savings, 221 S. York Rd.
KP Kitchen Crafts, 222 S. York Rd.
Hatboro Dish Restaurant, 102 S. York Rd.

Union Library of Hatborough TUES., OCT. 15 - BUSINESS & COMMUNITY NETWORKING
Join community members and local businesses at the Union Library of Hatboro for a pleasant evening of networking. This is a great way for businesses to establish relationships with the local community and for community members to meet local businesses and learn about the services they offer. Reservations suggested.

THURS., OCT. 17 - LADIES NIGHT OUT
The Saint John Bosco Women's Guild invites you to a night of Shopping! Crafters and Demonstrators who do home shows will all be gathered together. Come browse and get a jump on your Holiday shopping before the Christmas rush! Door Prizes! Food! Shopping Fun!

Horsham Dog Park SAT., OCT 19 - HORSHAM DOG PARK 5th ANNIVERSARY
Celebrate Horsham Dog Park’s 5th Anniversary! The event will begin with a blessing of the dogs at 10 a.m. and will include "carnival type" games for dogs, dog related vendors, photos at the park, cupcakes for humans and treats for dogs. At 12 Noon, there will be a dog costume contest. The event will conclude with the selection of winners of the raffle baskets and 50/50.

SAT., OCT 19 - PICK AN APPLE DAY at KP KITCHEN CRAFTS
To celebrate HatOberFest's Healthy Habits Week. The folks at KP Kitchen Crafts will promote awareness of nutritious foods, by having children pick an apple. If the apple picked has a sticker on it, they will get a prize! 1 to 3 p.m.

The Sisters of Ghost Hunting invite you to join them at Miller Meadow for a night of haunted fun and excitement. Teams will be formed and prizes will be given for the first team done and the best picture.

SAT., OCT. 19 - VILLAGE PLAYERS: "LEADING LADY"
A Comedy by Ken Ludwig: Two English actors, Jack & Leo, are performing Shakespeare in the Amish country of Pennsylvania. When they hear about an old woman who is about to die and pass on her fortune to two English nephews, Jack & Leo try to pass themselves off as the nephews in order to get her money.

Skeleton Skurry...get set...GO! SAT., OCT 26 - SKELETON SKURRY & FAMILY FUN TRAIL
Hatboro YMCA will hold its annual Skeleton Skurry 5K Run & 1 Mile Family Fun Trail beginning at Pennypack Elementary School and winding through Hatboro. Costumes are encouraged & prizes are awarded. The 1 mile Family Fitness Treat Trail for families includes spooky activities and prizes for all! Starts 9:30 a.m.

Merchants of Hatboro, from Summit Ave. to Horsham Rd., will welcome trick or treaters to visit. Don't forget to look for the ORANGE TRICK OR TREAT SIGN in the windows of participating businesses. Trick or Treating begins at 2 p.m. and ends at 4 p.m. Do you have your costume ready?

SHOEBOX RECYCLING
The Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Shoe Box Recycling to help others less fortunate. We will be collecting on-going shoes to help those in need. Shoes can be dropped off at the following locations:
---Chamber Office - 120 South York Road (Red Barn Mall), Suite 6
---KP Kitchen Crafts - 222 South York Road
---Heise Accounting - 55 North York Road

Purchase a Brick for "The New Tanner Park"
Elm Street Hatboro, The Hatboro-Horsham Kiwanis Club, in conjunction with the Hatboro Village Players, is constructing a lighted, paved, walkway into Tanner Park to replace the old macadam walkway. Monies raised from the sale of engraved bricks are used for new playground equipment, and to upgrade the entire Tanner Park.
