Doting mother Charlize Theron carried her son Jackson on Saturday after they dined together in Beverly Hills, California.

The 38-year-old actress was dressed comfortably in blue skinny jeans, a red button-down blouse and a pair of open-toed sandals.

She was carrying Jackson on her right hip and had a black purse on her left shoulder.

Jackson was dressed in jeans and a long-sleeved purple shirt.

The Prometheus star recently underwent surgery to correct a vertebra she broke years ago and had been sporting a small bandage on her neck.

The recent surgery was revealed after Charlize was seen Oct. 4 with an incision on her neck at Variety's 5th Annual Power of Women event.

A source told Us Weekly that Charlize was injured on a set and broke a vertebra years ago.

Charlize was honoured for her charity work at the Variety event and said her work has more purpose since she adopted Jackson.

‘It's definitely different,’ she revealed. 'Because you start thinking about the legacy that you want to leave behind for your child. I want him to be proud of me in a way that's authentic.’

Charlize wasn't the only one in mommy mode over the weekend.

Jack Osbourne's wife Lisa Stelly carved out some time on Sunday to take their one-year-old daughter Pearl to a farmer's market in Hollywood.

Lisa was dressed for autumn in black boots, leggings and a loose brown sweater.

Pearl was covered up in a blue and white striped hoodie, pink blouse and grey pants.

Charlize is no longer beautiful - before she cut her hair, it was the TOTAL PICTURE that made her so attractive. With the short hair, she just looks like another young matron. A woman's hair is her glory.
