Looking like a couple that believes dressing together keeps them together, Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z stepped out in matching outfits in Paris on Sunday.

Leaving baby Blue Ivy, aged one, at home, they slipped into their leather trousers and denim tops to look tres chic at upscale, romantic restaurant La Petite Maison De Nicole.

Amazingly, the couple managed to squeeze in the one-on-one night out while both are touring the world separately.

It was obvious that amour was in the air as the rapper put his arm around his wife of five years.

They looked in step with each other as they headed out into the cool Parisian air on Avenue George near the Champs-Elysees.

Beyonce stood out in black leather slacks that fit her to a T, showing off her toned legs. Black, pointy suede pumps added sexiness while a black-and-blue denim jacket over a black print T-shirt added street edge.

Making time for each other: Though they are both on international tours, the couple of five years managed to find time to clink glasses at this fancy restaurant

Black round sunglasses and a black hat brought back memories of '80s pop star Boy George.

Jay looked equally music star cool in black leather coated jeans with heavy black boots and a coated denim shirt buttoned up to his neck.

He left the shades at home but was wearing an oversized black watch, not doubt to make sure he got back home to daughter Blue in time.

La Petite is one of the fancier restaurants in the City Of Lights. Chef Jean-Yves Leuranguer's cuisine offers a truffles menu, lobster linguini and ratatouille. Tiramisu is a favorite for dessert.

The all white decor with long drapes and wide mirrors next to black-and-white photographs of Hollywood icons like Marilyn Monroe is super glamorous and from the creative mind of Nicole Rubi.

The couple's stop over in Paris was for just a few hours.

Jay-Z has been in London performing his Magna Carter Holy Grail tour and will have another concert there Monday.

He will be back in Paris on Thursday and Friday for performances at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy.

Meanwhile, Beyonce has to be in New Zealand on Wednesday for a show.

Both stars are performing pretty much non stop for the rest of the year. Beyonce's tour ends on December 22 while Jay's stops on January 31.

The superstars have been to Paris many times before.

In 2012 they brought Blue to see the Eiffel Tower when she was just a little infant.

In 2011 they took family members to EuroDisney after Beyonce had spent time at The Ritz to do a photo shoot.

The Sasha Fierce star had a hit earlier this year with her HBO documentary Beyonce: Life Is But A Dream which featured her daughter heavily. Her last starring role in a movie was the hit Obsessed in 2012.
