Time for bed? A tired-looking Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick take their brood home after a long day out in LA

With the amount of drama going on in their family, it's a wonder any of the Kardashians manage to get any sleep.

But on Monday it looked as though Kourtney and her partner Scott were headed straight to bed with two very tired children on their hands.

Scott, 30, held his Mason as he rested his head on his father's shoulder and appeared to be already wearing his pajamas.

Meanwhile, Kourtney managing a wry smile gently pushed her daughter Penelope along in a stroller.

Kourtney looked stylish in a loose-fitting shirt and stylish black hat.

It has been a tumultuous year for the family who share their every move on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Earlier this year the couple were hit by drama when male model Michael Girgenti claimed he had an affair with Kourtney and fathered her five-year-old son.

However, paternity tests proved otherwise.

Since then it's been non-stop stress for the family with Khloe's problems with husband Lamar Odom, and Kris Jenner's revelation that she has split with husband Bruce.

Thankfully, Kourtney and Scott were able to take some time out recently on a trip to New York.

The couple arrived back last Friday and were instantly reunited with their two children Penelope and Scott.

It looked as though they were keen to get back to their roles as loving parents, as Kourtney tweeted a picture of herself at Disneyland the same day of her returning.

These people have made their bed. If they want to protect their children, they need to step away from the limelight and keep their children out of harms way. But they choose to live the way they do, and their children are thus fair game. It's a deal with the devil - if you do everything in your power for celebrity and fame, you can't then turn off the paps, or expect them to back off when you wield your children like shields.
