Meet the penguins -- and pop star Rihanna.

The Grammy award winner wore a tuxedo-like outfit as she posed with rockhopper penguins at the Two Oceans Aquarium in Cape Town, South Africa on Monday.

'B---h stole my look,' wrote the the 25-year-old alongside the Instagram pictures of her with her miniature counterparts.

The star was enjoying some time off from her arduous Diamond tour, which will see her perform at 97 venues before it closes in New Orleans next month.

Aside from her feathered friends, RiRi, aka Rihanna Fenty, posed with a spiny-legged crab that clung onto the inside glass wall of one of the aquarium's giant display tanks.

The Barbados-born beauty wore a black sweatshirt with a monochrome design on the chest and colourful decoration around the cuff, paired with black jeans and zebra print shoes.

The outfit looked unusually demure for Rihanna - until she took off the sweatshirt to reveal a white, collared blouse cut off at the midriff to reveal her tanned, toned tummy, and slashed open at the back.

The Umbrella singer pulled back her hair to meet the trio of penguins, but later let it hang loose around her face, which she hid behind large dark glasses.

Rihanna seemed rested and relaxed, a far cry from her appearance last week in Auckland, New Zealand, where she was pictured standing by her hotel balcony looking exhausted the day after her sold out show at the city's Vector Arena.

Meanwhile, South African fans were reportedly angry after her concert on Sunday night in Johannesburg, complaining that her alleged lip-synching and lackluster performance wasn't worth the high price of the concert ticket, according to Radaronline.

Johannesburg's main newspaper The Star ran Ri-Ri Rip-Off on its front page on Monday, calling her performance 'below-par'.

'It was obvious,' the paper's staff photographer Sharon Seretlo said of RiRi’s purported lip-synching. 'You know when someone is lip-synching. I was in the Golden Circle [close to the stage]. I could see it.'

'I don’t feel the ticket prices were fair considering the level of performance,' fan Nicole Contini added.

Earlier in her New Zealand trip she had a traditional Maori tattoo inked on her right hand, adding to the vast collection of inkings she has collected throughout her career.

While modern tattoos are usually done with a needle machine, the traditional Ta Moko tattoos use a chisel, ink pigment and a mallet in a fairly painful process.

Meanwhile, authorities in Thailand said Monday they had arrested the owner of a sex show Rihanna visited in September during a break in her tour, in a crackdown inadvertently triggered by the singer's tweets.

She seems to have no emotion or "Awww" value going on as you would expect being so close to such gorgeous wee creatures. Infact Rhianna doesn't seem to know how lucky she is, her and her hard face. Smile love, your face won't crack!

It drives me crazy when people get tattoos from another culture that has nothing to do with them. It is worse when the tattoo is sacred in that particular culture. I wish tattoo artists would not tattoo those that do not have respect for the culture, but that is probably illegal in this politically correct world.

The language you use when writing about people like Rihanna is awful.
