She became famous for her over-the-top style, 'poof' hairdo and revealing outfit choices.

But on Tuesday, Snooki looked a completely different person to the pint-sized larger-than-life reality star who arrived at Seaside Heights, Jersey Shore four years ago.

The 25-year-old arrived at Universal Studios in Los Angeles for a TV appearance sporting a black and white chic top and loose fitting black trousers, with her bright red hair worn curled around her shoulders.

A chunky gold necklace, smoky black make-up and black and gold high heels completed the look which showed off her slimline figure.

The 4ft 9in star famously went from 146lbs to 96lbs after an intense diet and exercise regime after giving birth to son Lorenzo last August.

Snooki joined her reality co-star Jenni 'JWoww' Farley for the interview with Mario Lopez for TV show Extra where she appeared to show off some moves she's learned on Dancing With The Stars.

Back in the day: The new Snooki is a far cry from when she burst onto the scene back in 2010

The star has impressed viewers with her dancing on the show in which she is paired with Sasha Farber.

Meanwhile, JWoww looked equally chic in a mustard-coloured blazer, slim fitting jeans and platform heels.

A smart black top and gold dangling necklace completed the look.

The duo are busy promoting the third season of their reality show Snooki & JWoww which airs on TV next week.

The show will see Snooki begin to plan her wedding to long term boyfriend Jionni LaValle, although she recently admitted her stint on Dancing With The Stars has prevented her from selecting a venue.

'I have no time to do anything because all I do is dance,' she told Perez Hilton. 'So once I'm eliminated then I'll start planning.'

'Don't let her fool you,' her cast mate JWoww interjected. 'She's in it to win it'

But Snooki doesn't plan on being available any time soon.

'I just want to be top five,' she said. 'I'm not here to win it because I know there's huge competition. If I'm top five I'm going to be happy with that.

'I feel like everybody's so good, I feel like everybody's my competition because everybody's so good at what they do and I wasn't expecting that.'

'I love everyone. Now when everyone leaves, everybody cries, because even though we've known each other for only four weeks, we're just a very tight family.'

Despite her weight loss, she will be hoping to shed more pounds from her experience at the dance competition.

'My arms still jiggle when I wave!' she said last year. 'I’m 4 ft 9in, which is the size of a third-grader, so weighing 96 pounds is normal for me.'

I have never been a fan. But I'm pleased to see she is doing so well! She has really cleaned herself up, and seems to be doing a fantastic job as a mom. I prefer this grown, mature snookie.

She has come so far and grown up so much. Becoming a mom has been the best thing that could happen to her. She's college educated and comes from a good family in Dutchess County NY. Her haters can keep on hating. They are jealous which is not her problem. Way to go NICOLE. More power to you.
