Zac Efron strips naked and bares his bottom in explicit first trailer for That Awkward Moment

Following his stint in rehab which reports claimed was due to cocaine addiction, Zac Efron has shed his formerly squeaky clean image.

And the 25-year-old is now putting his Disney days behind him once and for all with his latest movie That Awkward Moment.

The R-rated film promises to be full of raunchy humour and its explicit red band trailer was released on Tuesday.

It sees Zac strip naked and reveal his bare bottom while lying horizontally across the toilet.

The scene sees his character Jason and Miles Teller’s character Daniel come into some trouble after taking too much Viagra.

The pair also give a pill to their newly single friend Mikey, played by Michael B. Jordan, while disguising it as a mint.

The film follows the trio of pals as they vow to steer clear of relationships following Mikey’s break-up, telling him: ‘If you’re single, we’re staying single with you man.’

But not before Jason has teased him when he is trying to comfort eat ice cream by asking him: ‘What are you, Bridget Jones?’

Of course, shortly after making the promise, Jason meets his dream girl, who is played by Imogen Poots.

The pair quickly end up in bed together, and while sprawled naked between the sheets, Imogen’s character says: ‘I was so not going to do that. I was going to make you wait like 40 days.’

Jason replied: ‘I was going to make you wait too. Then I realised… I’m a dude.’

Jason’s friends aren’t too happy about his budding romance and urge him to keep things casual.

‘You’re not supposed to see her more than once a week and you’ve seen this chick twice in one day,’ Daniel says.

Mikey adds:  ‘That’s some girlfriend s***.’

Daniel is especially reluctant when Jason brings his new squeeze to hang out with the boys.

‘What the f***? Are you serious?  This is a den of testosterone. You can’t invite a girl to a place like this,’ he says.

‘She’s not gonna talk about X-box. I’m gonna be sitting here being like oh I have to fart, but maybe I can’t right now. She better have some hot friends. I don’t care. Open the door. I’m gonna get wasted.’

The racy romantic comedy was formerly titled Are We Officially Dating? and will hit cinemas on January 31.
