Miranda Kerr stomps into event wearing seriously sexy leather boots... so she can climb on Orlando Bloom's motorbike later

These boots were made for walking, riding and everything in between.

Miranda Kerr crushed a few hearts under her well shod feet on the red carpet in New York on Wednesday.

The 30-year-old did her best fashionable bad girl impression as she arrived at the Gilt and Stuart Weitzman celebrate the 5050 Boot Anniversary event.

Of course keeping to the celebration's theme, the model wore some serious boots for the occasion.

The Victoria's Secrets Angel proved you do not have cripple yourself in high heels to look sexy, choosing to don a pair of knee high flat boots.

The black leather shoes made Miranda look like she was about to ride off into the sunset on the back of a Harley Davidson while still managing to have a feminine edge, and all was revealed when her husband, Orlando Bloom, 36, was spotted on his biked headed to pick her up later.

Upping her to sex kitten status, the Australian beauty wore a striking bright red hue on her lips, drawing attention to her plump pout.

Miranda looked like she had just left magazine shoot with her hair appearing almost airbrushed as it cascaded to one side in shimmering weaves.

The event was to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the so-called 5050 Boot by the label and its partnership with shopping site Gilt.

To mark the occasion the label and the site have created a pop up online store selling an amazing 20 different versions of the style - with even a $10,000 version of the boot which features studded with 25,000 hand-set Swarovski crystals in a leopard pattern.

Getting in the spirit of things and honoring the Stuart Weitzman mainstay was Padma Lakshmi - in a black suede pair - and Olivia Palermo, who donned the olive green version.

Clearly not getting the memo was Petra Nemcova who avoided the 5050 and instead wore a pair of peep toe heels with an all white suit.

Are you just making stuff up as you go along? It is the 5050 BOOT Anniversary event, everyone on these pics are wearing boots. There are no pics of her actually getting on his bike, nor of her actually holding a helmet or a coat. There is no need to make a romantic love story when there isn't one.

I want to green arrow you a million times! Olivia Palermo is probably the most annoying wannabe celebrity out there. I mean why is she even famous? She had a very brief role in The City and hasn't done anything since other than attend fashion shows. Yet the DM readers think she's amazing whilst bashing Miranda Kerr who actually works for a living. Double standards much?

Agree as well, some women on here just love to insult Miranda for petty reasons. She's very professional when it comes to her job, she started her own skincare company from scratch using her OWN money which she's now expanding to other countries, has written a best selling book for young girls which won an award, is happily married & is a very hands on mum to a smiley content child. Yet some women WHINGE & MOAN about her simply because she's always smiling & happy & never has a scowl on her face.....If they dislike her so much then don't click on her articles, simple!!!
