Just a day earlier, he had been subject to reports that he is suffering from a 'secret drug addition' after the Jonas Brothers cancelled their US tour.
But Joe Jonas looked unruffled by the rumours as he stepped out at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts Inaugural Gala on Thursday.
Speaking to People Magazine at the event, Joe remained tight-lipped about the future of The Jonas Brothers, but gave a big hint that he's already moved on from the band.
Moving on? Joe Jonas has now revealed that he would 'like to get into acting' following rumours of a rift with his brothers
'I think acting would be fun,' Joe said. 'I would like to [get into that].'
When asked about the rift of the band, Joe said: 'I'm not going to talk about that right now.'
However, Joe did confirm that he is now working with new musical acts as a producer.
The 24-year-old singer sported a black tuxedo, white shirt and bow tie at the Beverly Hills bash.

Looking stunning in a plunging light pink gown with her dark hair pulled into a bun, the 27-year-old star chatted away to Joe, who later took a seat next to Glee star Chord Overstreet to watch the night's performances.
Joe seemed unflustered by reports which surfaced on Wednesday which alleged he has been struggling with a 'secret drug addiction'.

It was rumoured that his alleged struggle with substance abuse is the real reason for his band the Jonas Brothers cancelling their tour last week.
The cancellation of the boys' 19 concert tour came as the brothers' group Twitter account was also discovered to have been deleted.
According to Star Magazine,
the Jonas Brothers were forced to cancel their upcoming tour due to
Joe's alleged addiction problems, after the band officially claimed the
cancellation was the result of 'creative differences.'
An insider told Star: 'He’s [Joe] been dealing with substance abuse issues for quite some time.'
The source went on to reveal that the pop star's family and management have been 'begging him to seek help.'
Meanwhile, TMZ reports that Joe has been spending time with sober living coach Mike Bayer, who is famous for helping Demi Lovato through her difficult period with abuse problems.
Bayer is the CEO and founder of Cast Recovery Services and was spotted out and about with the star last week.
Now the gossip site has reported that the coach was seen with Joe at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood on Tuesday night, fuelling rumours that he is in fact helping the troubled star.
