Wenger declares Ozil, Cazorla and Sagna fit and ready for Arsenal's clash with Norwich

By David Cartlidge

Arsenal head into the game against Norwich City this weekend with a brief respite from their injury woes.

Mesut Ozil, Santi Cazorla and Bacary Sagna are all in contention for places after passing fitness tests.

Ozil suffered a knock while away with Germany and had caused concern, but Wenger declared the club record signing is fit for the game at the Emirates.

Meanwhile despite offering caution on Sagna and Cazorla on Thursday, Wenger insisted they'll be fit along with Ozil. He said: 'Ozil, Sagna and Cazorla are all fit. Everybody else looks fit and ready.'

Cazorla is yet to feature in the same team as Ozil, and it's a prospect that Wenger is looking forward to. 'You want all your best players to play together in a very positive way' he said, when asked about the duo.

Someone else who will be in the squad is Rosicky who is now fully recovered, added Wenger. The Arsenal manager also spoke on other absentees, with Theo Walcott being two weeks away while Yaya Sanogo, Lukas Podolski, Abou Diaby and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are all out for 'a longer period'.

A premiership winning group of midfielders... Just need a world class striker, centre back and keeper and the title is Arsenals... I hope.

Arteta is the key in our midfield

It's going to be very interesting who Arsene picks... I'll go for Ramsey, Ozil, Carzola, Flamini and Rosicky. Arsenal must kill the game off in the first 45minutes.

No offence to Arteta but when we signed him I was so happy. I thought he could soften the loss of Cesc and he did some what. But then came first Carzola then Ramsey got his form back then Ozil arrived and then Arteta got injured and Flamini is showing he is a defensive specialist. I don't think Arteta should start anymore. Great player but he was a stop gap and thats why that long list of players left. Great player to come off the bench or to cover for any injuries. He is battling with Flamini and there will only be 1 winner on the streets, in the ring and on the pitch. Wenger hasn't had this problem since that Champions league final when Pires and Reyes were battling for a start. Only 11 can start so tough decisions will be made. Ozil, Ramsey, Carzola and Flamini are his current best midfield. What if Walcott was fit? Competition is good only if he picks the best team regardless. KEEP RAMSEY IN.
