Couples who have been together for some time often start dressing alike and it looks as if actress Diane Kruger and long-time love Joshua Jackson now fall into that category.

The pair, who have been together since 2006, donned matching blue jackets for a casual dinner at Madeo, an Italian restaurant in West Hollywood, on Friday night.

The German-born beauty, 37, showed off her long legs in ripped, stone-washed skinny jeans, rolled up at the ankle, and a white T-shirt with dark blue stripes and a low-cut V-neck.

Diane let her blonde, shoulder-length hair fall naturally around her face and opted to wear very little makeup on her date night.

The celebrity added elegant red high-heeled shoes to complete the look.

Fringe star Joshua, 35, looked comfy in grey jeans, a simple white shirt and brown shows.

The loved up couple are often seen out together at everything from posh red carpet events to homely trips to the supermarket.

But despite the obvious pleasure Diane and Joshua find in each other's company they have no intention of formalising their relationship by getting married - yet.

Diane says the secret to keeping their love alive over the years is hard work.

'All relationships are hard. It doesn't matter what job you have, or how famous or miserable or poor you are,' she told Marie Claire magazine earlier this year.

'It's about commitment. I'm grateful that I met a person who feels the same about me, but also about our relationship. But therapy helps too.'

The Inglourious Basterds actress has been busy this year with two movies, Me, Myself And Mum and The Host, as well as her starring role on cabler FX's series, The Bridge.

Her next movie, The Better Angels is in post production.
