Hi to y'all and hope I can help you on your journey to finding the right job. And, one hopes you're the right candidate for the following work.
Typesetters: I'm looking to finally find the best person to work on 1000s of discographies. Be aware there's no money initially for the job - just a healthy legal contract at 10-15% of the company (negotiable) and at a later date a smaller percentage and an appropriate monthly wage. Have faith in me and this project and rewards will be fulfilling. Look around the site and possibly your fave rock artist to see if you'd like to come on board.
The job candidate is wanted now!
Proof-readers: Just take a look at the 500 or so biographies at the moment (Artists A-Z) and see if you can spot any mistakes. Only bona fide proof-readers need apply with a knowledge of all signs and symbols needed to succeed.
Don't send me lists of mistakes (spelling, diction or otherwise) for now - we'll sort out these with the right candidate.
Wages will be determined on each entry. Applicants will have to await until spring for an answer as a Typesetter is need first.
Website manager/co-ordinator: This person must have the knowledge of all things technical and web-orientated, and to go between various workers (and myself). As with Typesetting job, the wages are based on results initially (10-15% of the company) but with an option to go onto a monthly wage (smaller %) when things get off the ground. Contact me through e-mail. He/She will also be responsible for hiring a salesperson to get the necessary advertisers.
Apprentice biographer: + possible discographer (they're hard to find). A person who come come on board for a small percentage of the company (probably 5-10% of the company) - smaller % at a later date. But this person will hold the key to the discography/biography database and my knowledge will be passed on, therefore when I release my mortal coil, and the person keeps the site up and running (with sense to pass it on if need be), they will get a much larger share of the company.
Applicants must have a great knowledge of every genre of music and can right biographies in my format. Please apply by writing either a LEVON HELM, RICK DANKO or MERLE HAGGARD biog. Other options will be added later - if need be.
