'Julius and his mother are happy and healthy,' her spokesperson said.

Morena thanked Dr. Ronald Wu at Glendale Adventist Medical Center, who is said to be the only doctor in the LAs area who offers expectant mothers the option to birth a breech baby in a hospital.

'I’m so happy I was able to deliver with Dr. Wu,' she told People.  'Breech delivery is a dying art and he gave me the birth experience I wanted.'

The actress, who plays Jessica Brody, announced she was expecting in May and continued filming Homeland during her pregnancy, but producers did not make it part of her character's story line.

'I can’t express how nice it is to be in a work environment where you are nurtured as a pregnant woman,' Morena said.

'Everybody’s allowed me to have my space, do the work I need to do, but at the same time, they’re really taking care of me.'

Morena and her husband married in 2011.

She jeopardized the health of her baby just to have a natural birth! Incredibly mean and selfish! She obviously wasn't putting her baby first, but her own egomaniac needs!

My baby girl was a breech delivery too - none of the community midwives had picked up that she was breech and it was only discovered when I arrived at the hospital very far advanced in labour. I had the most AMAZING midwife at the birth though who encouraged me and told me I could do it. My daughter was born healthy (if a little cranky!) and I was able to recover a lot quicker than I think I would have done from a c-section (going by what others have told me). It can be done - you just have to have a very confident, experienced and supportive midwife/doctor.

what does she mean 'Breech delivery is a dying art and he gave me the birth experience I wanted.'.... you cant choose or plan a breech birth, i dont understand how its a dying art, its more an emergency situation, not a birth plan.

I'm glad I didn't have an option at my hospital with my 11 pound breech baby. C-section it was and I was glad we were both okay.

My mother was breech, my younger brother was breech and I still remember the labour nurse telling me "You're doing great! He's crowning!... Oh my God! That's not the head! Stop pushing!" - Less than 10 minutes later I delivered a perfectly healthy, 6lb 5oz little boy. To this day, I remind him "You came into this world bass ackwards and nothing in 18 yrs has changed!"
