Back to normal: Hilary Duff returns to mommy duty in Beverly Hills after dressing up as a playful mouse for Halloween party

Hilary Duff returned to mommy duty on Sunday with young son Luca after dressing up as a mouse at a Halloween party for adults.

The 26-year-old actress brought little Luca along during a shopping trip in Beverly Hills, California.

It was a far cry from Friday night when the star and her husband Mike Comrie donned costumes for the Casamigos Halloween party, also in Beverly Hills.

Hilary was dressed as a cute mouse at the star-studded party and Mike came as a doctor.

The guest list at the party also included Cindy Crawford, Chelsea Handler, Sean Penn, Wilmer Valderrama and Sacha Baron Cohen along with his wife Isla Fisher.

Hilary, Mike and Luca teamed up the day after the party to attend a book signing event in Los Angeles where Hilary's sister Haylie Duff was signing copies of her new cookbook Real Girl's Kitchen.

On Sunday, the former Disney star chose a casual outfit that included a yellow long-sleeved blouse with horizontal black stripes.

Hilary teamed her comfortable top with a pair of blue skinny jeans and grey high-top sneakers.

She had her honey blonde hair loose around her shoulders and also was lugging around a grey tote.

Hilary carried Luca who was dressed in a black T-shirt, grey sweatpants and black sneakers.

She also pushed him around in a stroller and Luca looked content with a pacifier in his mouth as he was wheeled around.

Hilary and Mike were married in 2010 and welcomed Luca in March 2012.

She has a short & rounder build but her sizing actually seems pretty small. Why should all bodies look elongated? We all have different builds. She looks really good.

A former child star who who hasn't gone off the rails. Its a rare thing, but highly commendable. Someone who can attend a party, yet can still be a good mum. If I was wearing a hat, I would take it off.

The fact is James, that 99.9% of all former child stars have normal productive lives as adults out of the industry. Duff is just one of the 99.9%. The ones going off the rails all over the news are a very very small number overall.

Do you know what fat is? because she looks fine to me. Who are you to tell her to lose weight? You clearly have nothing useful to do with your time apart from making people feel insecure when you're ironically hiding behind a screen.

The reality is that she is quite chubby. Why are you arguing the post of joysum when the photos every day in the Mail show that she clearly is chubby. Why the delusion on this person? She is certainly not in shape.

People calling her fat? I don't see any fat hanging out from her, she's just short, in real life she must be tiny! People don't seem to know what fat is.
