It's already had the stamp of approval from the likes of Kim Sears, Millie Mackintosh and the Duchess of Cambridge.

But Cara Delevingne became the latest star to join the Zara brigade as she indulged in a spot of retail therapy at the high street favourite on Thursday.

Despite having a wardrobe practically bursting at the seams with creations gifted to her by the world's hottest designers, the 21-year-old supermodel decided to hit the popular Spanish clothing store as she enjoyed a girlie shopping trip with her pals.

The London-born beauty appeared to be particularly taken by a pair of emerald green skinny jeans as she browsed the goods on offer in the branch with a female friends.

And the model of the moment seemed thrilled with her new purchases, and was grinning from ear-to-ear as she left the cashier desk with a Zara carrier bag in her hand.

But a visit from one of the world's most recognisable faces didn't appear to have gone unnoticed, with the shop assistant smiling to himself after having served the Burberry star.

Cara was dressed casually for her daytime outing, teaming a simple white shirt with black skinny jeans and one of her trademark bomber jackets.

Completing her look with a pair of rock-chick inspired boots, the British star went make-up free and wore her ash blonde locks loose and unstyled around her shoulders.

After hitting Zara for a spot of retail therapy, Cara swung by a bookstore, before heading out for an evening with her friends.

Posting a funny snap on her Instagram page, she wrote: 'Ping pong times (and yes those are teenage ninja turtle pants over my jeans)! @poplife_ldn @JZam5.'

The much-lauded model of the moment had plenty to celebrate though, after it was revealed on Tuesday that she had been nominated for Model of the Year at the upcoming 2013 British Fashion Awards.

Cara will go head to head with Vogue favourite Edie Campbell and Burberry girl Sam Rollinson after taking home the prestigious gong last year.

Elsewhere, Victoria Beckham has been nominated both the Red Carpet Award and Brand of the Year.

Zara is a European company with a Chinese business model. Copy and reproduce using cheap materials and sell for a fraction of the original. Cheap tat that only looks good for the first wear.
