Kelsey Grammer blanks ex-wife Camille and 'has not seen children' during her battle with cancer

Kelsey Grammer has reportedly not seen his children with his ex-wife Camille during the period that the actress was undergoing surgery for cancer.

The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 45, claims that her ex-husband, Frasier star Kelsey Grammer, has not contacted her or their children about her health, RadarOnline.com reports.

The actress was asked by a fan if Kelsey, 58, had contacted her or their children Mason, 12, and Jude, 9, about her battle with cancer.

She tweeted earlier this month: ‘No, Kelsey has never contacted me or the kids about my health.’

A source told RadarOnline that the children stayed in Southern California while Camille, who was diagnosed with early stage endometrial cancer in October, had a radical hysterectomy in Houston. 

The source said: ‘She wanted the kids to remain in school, and they were well cared for. Kelsey didn’t see the children while Camille was in Houston for her cancer surgery,’

‘He didn’t make any attempt to visit them, or have the kids come stay with him. He does call the kids, but it’s been a very long time since they actually saw their father.

A source previously told Radar that the actress had been treated with chemotherapy and radiation to treat the endometrial cancer.

Sources also told Radar that the children ‘miss’ their father, adding: ‘Camille has always encouraged Kelsey’s relationship with the kids and wants him to be a part of their lives.’

The actress also recently revealed that she suffered an assault by her Greek former, Dimitri Charalambopoulos, 36, who is reported to have beaten her for an hour on October 16 as she recovered from surgery.

Camille was granted a restraining order against prohibiting him from coming within 100 yards of her.

Before she shared her ordeal, Camille wrote on Twitter: ‘Oh no, you had more to deal with beyond the cancer and surgery. Stay strong. Yes’

She added: ‘Getting my strength back now that I am at home and wasn't able to deal with talking about it after my cancer surgery or what had happen.(sic)’

Kelsey and Camille wed in 2007 but divorced in 2011, the same year that Kelsey married British flight attendant Kayte Walsh, who is 25 years his junior.

Sadly there are many men like this. My children's father has not seen 3 of ours more than a handful of times in 10 years and never had any to stay or on holiday in all that time. These men who abandon children need to know that that is not acceptable. it is not how to be a good father after divorce. I don't know how they explain it to the new women in their lives. How can you love a man who chooses not to see his children even though they and their mother would love the man to see more of the children?

This man lost family in tragedies early on in his life, and he is an emotional cripple. It's very sad for his children. Better that they figure it out and get on with life without him.
