A night of empty calories can play havoc with a girl’s figure, so it was little surprise to see Rosie Huntington-Whiteley venturing out of a local gym the morning after a late night at notorious Hollywood haunt Chateau Marmont.

The 26-year-old model and actress was spotted as she made her way back to her car on Friday after kick-starting her day with another sweaty work-out.

Rosie kept her eyes hidden behind a pair of large retro sunglasses following a second gym visit in as many days during her current trip to Los Angeles.

The British star sported conventional gym attire comprised of the standard black leggings and loose fitting vest-top she commonly wears for her calorie burning sojourns, but for once opted to leave her New York Yankees baseball cap at home.

Rosie clutched a bottle of mineral water in her right hand – and no doubt she needed some hydration after a night out in Hollywood.

The actress stepped out in a stylish Givenchy sweater and leather trousers on Thursday evening as she made her way into the popular celebrity haunt.

Rosie looked striking on the night, but she recently admitted during an interview with The Observer that models can no longer rely solely on their looks.

'There's more engagement. You're no longer this one-dimensional image,’ she said. ‘It’s more expected now for supermodels to be smart, to have opinions, to have a personality.’

That realisation may well have prompted Rosie to branch into acting, with her debut role in 2011 movie Transformers: Dark Of The Moon set to be followed by an appearance in next year’s Mad Max: Fury Road.

‘It looks like it’s going to be a really exciting journey for me,’ she told Stylist shortly after her casting as ‘Splendid.’

‘I think it’ll be a fantastic film. I can’t talk too much about (my role). But I’m really excited. It’s been a really fun project so far.’
