She is the front cover of the November issue of Nylon Magazine.

And making sure she caught people's attention at the magazine's America The Issue celebration party, Lana Del Rey appeared in a revealing fish net top.

The star was hard to miss as she stood in front of a large American flag backdrop in the sultry top, revealing her black bra at the Sunset Marquis Hotel & Villason on Friday.

Cleverly covering her modesty with a black leather biker jacket, Lana teamed the look with a pair of casual skinny denim jeans and black leather platform heels.

The star's long, tumbling brunette tresses even helped to play a small part in covering her chest for all to see on the red carpet.

She kept her make-up simple and in neutral shades, wearing black eyeliner and just a touch of cheek blush and nude lipstick as she beamed in front of the cameras.

The magazine front cover sees Lana posed with her hands resting behind her head in a confident stance whilst looking cool in a black crop top and fitted skirt beneath a distressed denim jacket and gold accessories.

She appeared at the event with Scottish boyfriend and Kassidy frontman Barrie-James O'Neill, whom she has been in a relationship with since August 2011.

Barrie looked similarly cool in a maroon cardigan, black shirt, black jeans and boots whilst fixing his long raven locks into a middle parting.

The couple posed together, making sure to give a few sultry looks to the camera.

Nylon Magazine is the first to talk to Del Rey ahead of the release of her short film Tropico and her much-anticipated album.

Speaking about her record, expected to be out in 2014, she told Nylon: 'I've been writing since that last record came out, but it's been coming really slowly.

'Artists can get to a point in their career when they're writing things because it's time to release something new, or something Top 40, and I just don't think it's a natural way to proceed.

'I really care about writing only for myself, and I find that when I do that, it just resonates more.'

The in-depth interview also reveals information about her childhood, growing up near Lake Placid in New York, her spirituality and the moment she knew she first made it big.

Only recently did Lana Del Rey 'politely' turned down Kanye West's request to sing at his marriage proposal in San Francisco.

'Lana politely declined, and didn’t give any reason for not being able to perform,' a source told Radar. 'It was a very firm no from Lana and her camp. Kanye did try to push it, but didn’t get anywhere.'
