Hoover’s YouTube channel is now accessible on iPhones iPod Touches, and iPads using the iStanford app, making it easier for viewers to keep up with Hoover’s activities. Hoover’s YouTube videos include Uncommon Knowledge interviews, task force member interviews, education commentary, and Hoover events.

The addition of Hoover’s YouTube channel to iStanford strengthens Hoover’s Internet presence, which already includes Defining Ideas, Advancing a Free Society, Uncommon Knowledge, Facebook, Twitter, and RSS feeds. Hoover’s online presence is essential to advancing ideas defining a free society.

Follow the below instructions to install the iStanford app and access Hoover's YouTube channel from your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad:

  1. Open the app store by touching its icon on the home screen.

  2. Perform a search for “iStanford” from within the app store. Select the iStanford app from the search results and install it.

  3. Once iStanford has been installed it will appear on the home screen. (You may need to flick between pages to find it.) Activate iStanford by touching its icon.

  4. Once the application is open, touch the “videos” icon.

  5. Locate the entry for “Hoover Institution” and touch it to browse or search content from Hoover's YouTube channel.
