Smash star Megan Hilty has married actor and musician Brian Gallagher after skipping the engagement.

The couple tied the knot in Las Vegas on Saturday night and were quick to announce the nuptials via social media.

Brian posted a snap to Instagram of himself and his 32-year-old bride brandishing their new wedding bands soon after their spur of the moment wedding.

Brian captioned the celebratory snap: 'WE DID IT!!! #justmarried'.

 

But that was not all as the 33-year-old recording artist could not contain his excitement.

The ecstatic new husband also tweeted a declaration of love: 'I love you! RT @meganhilty'.

Adding: 'I married the love [o]f my life tonight at The Venetian Chapel in Las Vegas!!!!!'

According to People.com, the 32-year-old actress wore a Badgley Mischka dress while the groom sported J Lindeberg.

Megan told the publication: 'We were so excited to be married that we skipped the engagement altogether!'

Megan shot to fame with various Broadway productions as well as the musical television show Smash and she currently can be seen on NBC's Sean Saves The World.

She and Brian met at a workout class while they were both in Broadway productions.

The loved up couple also have a series of musical shows together lined up in Los Angeles later this year.
