'I'm a loose cannon!' Sharon Osbourne apologises for abusing The View panel... and jokes 'I'm not well'

She made waves after saying her rivals on The View could 'go f*** themselves.'

However Sharon Osbourne ended up making a grovelling apology to her talk show rivals on her show The Talk on Thursday.

And the music manager still managed to make a mockery of the proceedings, as she mixed up the names of the two programmes as she attempted to appear contrite.

From the bottom of her heart: But Sharon Osbourne still managed to botch her apology to The View's ladies on Thursday

It started with the 61-year-old saying: 'I have to own this I'm fully responsible for myself, some of the time.

'Unfortunately I was inappropriate and I was trying to be funny at someone else's expense.'

Sharon then said she had disparaged 'the ladies of The Talk,' but it was not long before her guffawing co-stars pointed out her mistake.

Seizing the moment, the old aged pensioner replied: 'See I'm not well, I'm not repsonsible. Im not.

'I'm really just a loose cannon. Anyway I want to apologise to Jenny Sherri and Whoophi who are all accomplished self-made women who have amazing careers.

'They have achieved so much. I mean Whoopi is an Oscar winner. Who am I to say anything about Whoopi?'

And she continued: 'Any of the ladies - I respect Jenny as a mother as a woman as an artist. Sherri too.

'I can't even get the name of my own show right so please, understand it was my irreverent behaviour.

'No disrespect was meant and I'm not a person that is mean. I'm really not and I apologise.'

The apology came after she attacked her rivals appearing on The Arsenio Hall Show on Werdnesday

As her co-hosts Julie Chen, Aisha Tyler, Sara Gilbert and Sheryl Underwood sat around her at a large round table, the red head said she praised 'divine' Barbara Walters, but then added, 'The rest [of The View cast] can go f**k themselves.'

It all began when Arsenio asked what the difference was between The Talk and The View.

Julie started out carefully by saying, 'We do not discuss politics, we do not debate.' She then said slowly, as if trying to sound slightly sarcastic, 'I always say The View has changed over the years as the players have changed.'

Sharon then gulped down the remainder of her mystery drink (which was in a red plastic cup), threw the empty container over her shoulder and interrupted, 'Cut to the chase. Stop being polite. Cut to the f***ing chase.'

When the wife of rocker Ozzy Osbourne was asked to explain, the former reality star said, 'This is the situation. Barbara, idolize her, divine, she is superhuman, I love, but the rest can go f*** themselves.'

In addition to Barbara, The View hosts include Whoopi Goldberg, Jenny McCarthy and Sherri Shepherd. The show has been bringing in guest hosts that include Brad Garrett and Cedric The Entertainer.

The audience gasped then chanted the signature Arsenio Hall 'woop woop' after those comments were made by Sharon.

And Jenny has made light of the incident, telling Entertainment Tonight: 'Sharon and I have been friends a very long time.  I love [Sharon] and I love The Talk.  She sent me flowers two weeks ago.'

She also spoke out about the criticism she has received since joiuning the show, saying: 'Barbara [Walters] has my back.  I haven't gone without criticism since [the] launch of my career, since I started as a Playboy Playmate.

'I've learned to follow my heart.  I see people love or hate everybody.   Makes me feel good to have ladies at The View supporting me.'

The Talk and The View are tied in ratings with just over two million viewers. Dr. Phil's show is number one with nearly three million viewers and Live With Kelly & Michael is in second place with roughly 2.7 watchers.

Sharon has been in the news this week for commenting on her daughter Kelly's twitter war with singer Lady Gaga. She said she is 'happy' the months long feud has finally ceased.

'You know what, life is way too short,' Sharon told E! on Monday.

'And Gaga was so gracious and extended herself to Kelly and I'm glad that Kelly came around because you know what, it's juvenile. And thank god it's over.'

Kelly apologized several times last week for making fun of Gaga's cake gift. '@ladygaga I acted like a child last night. Just not into publicity stunts call me & we will end this like adults I don't want 2 fight anymore,' the star of Fashion Police tweeted.

On Hello Ross the former Dancing With The Stars contestant said, 'I will just admit that I overreacted. I really did, because when you start to f--k with me and my mom, that's when I start to get a little bit...I saw it wrong. I saw it more as a publicity stunt than an olive branch.'

Not a fan of Sharon's, but the women on The View are vile, ultra-liberal trolls.

If she's 'not well' as she states, perhaps she should go away, get better and only come back when she's 'well' again!! I'd substitute the word brainless for 'not well'.
