'Bras, panties, jewels and feathers... it's that time again!' Doutzen Kroes and Candice Swanepoel head to final fittings for Victoria's Secret fashion show

There’s just days to go before the Victoria’s Secret beauties strut their stuff in the lingerie giant’s annual fashion show.

And on Thursday it was time for some final preparation as Candice Swanepoel and Doutzen Kroes were spotted heading to the Victoria’s Secret offices in New York.

Dressed down in black ensembles the two blondes looked ready for business as they headed inside to put the finishing touches to the annual extravaganza.

28-year-old Doutzen was dressed down for her late meeting, looking chic in a pair of tight leather trousers and patent ankle boots.

The model finished her look off by layering two black tops to keep out the chilly Manhattan temperatures, accessorising with a silver necklace.

With her long blonde locks left loose and sporting natural makeup, Doutzen smiled as she headed inside the offices, excitedly telling her Twitter followers ahead of her days activities:

‘Bras, penties, jewels, and feathers.... It's that time again!! Excited for my fitting today!!…’ (sic)

It was a busy day for the Netherlands born beauty who was also celebrating her third wedding anniversary with her Dutch DJ husband Sunnery James. The pair married in 2010 in a ceremony in Amsterdam, welcoming their son Phyllon Joy Gorre the following January.

Sending a sweet message to her beau in the midst of her hectic day at work, the besotted model wrote on Twitter:

‘Yes yes yes I would marry you everyday my love, my everything!! Love you so much!! #3yearanniversary ❤’

Meanwhile Doutzen’s fellow Victoria’s Secret model Candice Swanepoel was also spotted heading to the brand’s offices for a fitting.

The 25-year-old braved the cold and showed off her legs in a cute mini skirt, featuring a polka dot print. Pairing her tiny skirt with thigh high suede boots, the blonde at least kept things warm up top with her leather jacket.

Hiding behind a pair of retro shades, despite the evening darkness, the model hurried inside carrying her phone and a small black handbag.

Candice is the star of the 2013 show, which hits the Big Apple on November 13. The South Afircan model officially unveiled her $10 million Royal fantasy bra at a photo call in New York this week.

The model will take to the catwalk wearing the iconic Royal Fantasy Bra and Belt designed exclusively for Victoria's Secret by world-renowned jeweller, Mouawad.

Adorned with over 4,200 precious gems from around the world including rubies, diamonds, and yellow sapphires, this is the first time Candice has been given the honour of wearing a Fantasy Bra.

She follows in the footsteps of the likes of industry heavyweights Miranda Kerr, Tyra Banks, Gisele Bündchen, Heidi Klum, Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima and Claudia Schiffer.

‘They had to make a mold of my body to be able to make [the bra], I was really excited,’ Swanepoel told People magazine.

'I tried to imagine after they’d done the mold, how would they make it, how it would look. My imagination didn’t do it justice. My favourite part is this beautiful 52-carat pear-shaped ruby. Every part of it is exquisite.'

‘I’ve never worn anything this pricey, and we have to put gloves on when we put it on. It’s kind of a big ordeal. The bra comes with two bodyguards and we have to handle it with a lot of care!’ she added.

The first ever Fantasy Bra was made in 1996 for Claudia Schiffer, but the most expensive Fantasy Bra produced was the Ruby Fantasy Bra worn by Gisele Bundchen in 2000, which cost an eye-watering $15m (£9.3m) to hand make.

Whilst Candice and Doutzen will be strutting their stuff there’s a few familiar faces missing from this year's line-up, most notably long-time Runway Angel Miranda Kerr.

The 30-year-old was the first Australian Victoria's Secret Angel when she was signed back in 2007, replacing Gisele Bündchen. However, the brunette announced in April that she was streamlining her Victoria's Secret duties to focus on being a mother to her son Flynn.

Ugh so tired of people complaining about Candice getting the Fantasy Bra this year. She is the best model VS has. Yes, Doutzen has a "perfect" face but in the commercials my eyes are always fixed on Candice. She has a stunning face (I think the nose makes her unique), the best body in the business and a very sexy walk. She's also very professional as a model (no diva like behavior). Since she started with VS, there has been no other model who has worked as hard for the brand. Yes, VS clearly prefers her but she also does the work for them quietly and unceremoniously. You never see her canoodling with celebrities or athletes at A-list parties. She seems a very down-to-earth girl outside of her work. I am looking forward to seeing her in the show this year!

Stunning girls! Candice is quite a bombshell and what amazing legs she has. Doutzen on the other hand, definitely most beautiful VS model. Her beauty is mesmerizing!! You can definitely see that they both are Dutch. I live in Amsterdam (no Dutch heritage), and there are a lot of Dutch girl who are tall, blond and blue eyed and what natural beauties they are. I have seen a lot of Candy look-a-likes here in Holland. There is also another Dutch model who looks a lot like Candice, her name is Romee Strijd. She may be in the victoria's secret fashion this year. Wonderful girls!!

As a 40 something mum of 3, I love the Victoria's Secret show, it's a spectacle worth watching and the girls are stunning. Love the music part of the show too, but Justin Beiber last year was a bit of a damp squib, hope they ramp it up again this year with someone decent.
