Enterprise News and Pictures 11/11/13nPic shows: Former nurse Averil Monks, 75, who was knocked down and killed by motorist Natalie Foulser, 21. Foulser has been jailed for killing the pensioner with her car when she became distracted by her anger at two pedestrians she thought were taking an age to cross the road in front of her. Foulser, a talented artist, began revving the engine of her black and orange Honda Civic when she thought a man and a woman were deliberately walking slowly across a dual carriageway. She continued glaring at them and failed to see the pensioner was behind them using the crossing. Foulser, who had only recently passed her driving test, struck Averil at 35mph on the 30mph road in Marton, Lancs, in June last year. Foulser was later seen crying by the roadside, saying: " I can't believe I've just killed someone." Foulser, from Fleetwood, was jailed for eight months at Burnley Crown Court last Friday and banned from driving for two years. She was cleared of causing death by dangerous driving but pleaded guilty to causing death by careless driving. nSee story...
