Shopping for three? Pregnant Tamara Ecclestone wears slimming black as she hits the shops with husband Jay Rutland

The baby bump appeared to be well hidden on Sunday as Tamara Ecclestone ventured out for a shopping spree in Central London.

The F1 heiress was spotted with husband Jay Rutland as they browsed shops on London’s Bond Street, and she looked typically stylish in a smart black dress and knee-length boots.

Tamara matched her outfit with a faux snakeskin handbag that provided an otherwise neutral look with an added splash of colour as she strolled through a string of designer stores.

Jay looked casual in an off-white sweater, jeans and tasselled loafers for their afternoon out, and he seemed happy to play the observer while his wife shopped for shoes.

The couple began their day with lunch at popular French eatery Le Petite Maison in nearby Brooke Street before hitting the shops.

Despite the overcast conditions Tamara initially sported a pair of large sunglasses before opting to take them off as she ventured from store to store.

The 29-year-old is expecting her first child with the former Pacific Continental broker in around six months’ time, but while her growing baby bump was clearly evident during a recent trip to Abu Dhabi, it was well concealed during her latest outing.

Tamara and Jay officially confirmed their imminent parenthood in October, and she recently admitted exclusively to MailOnline that she desperately wanted to find out the sex of her unborn child before giving birth.

'I’m definitely going to find out the sex! I need to know, I need to plan,’ she said. ‘It’s nice to have a surprise, but I couldn’t cope with not knowing for the next six months!'

The couple married on the French Riviera in June, four months after they announced their engagement.

The lavish wedding ceremony reportedly cost £7 million.
