A thing of beauty is a joy forever. There is no true Sierra Leonean who is not proud at the brilliant manner President Ernest Bai Koroma has transformed Sierra Leone from a stone age country to one of the most modern and beautiful in West Africa. Before President Koroma came to power in 2007, Sierra Leone was the citadel of backwwardness in the Sub-continent.
Not only was there no electricity or water supply and not only was the capital , Freetown the darkest city in the world ; infrastructure were dilapidated and ramshackled. Roads were filled with potholes and thick mists of dust that rose with the passing of every vehicle coated buildings and poles. There was hardly a serious radio station or TV service .The farmlands in the interior lay in waste as agriculture had been abandoned .Mining had ground to a halt . Disappointment, discouragement and despair hung thickly on the nation like a pall. There was no hope for the Sierra Leonean people . The opposition Sierra Leone People’s Party ( SLPP ) had done nothing for them .
Only five years after President Koroma came to power, there has been a dramatic transformation in the country. Sierra Leone is now an architectural beauty and an artist’s delight. Modern roads and state-of-the-art architecture span the city and the hinterland. If ever our country was beautiful, it is now that this beauty is glowing to the pride of all Sierra Leoneans. Not only that , Sierra Leone now has radio and TV service that are the envy of other West African nations as the SLBC is heard and SLBC/TV is viewed all over the world .Agriculture has been revived and Sierra Leone is making steady progress towards self-sufficiency in food production. There are mining activities all over the country with attendant availability of jobs. Of course, Sierra Leone now enjoys unlimited flow of electricity and the Bumbuna Electricity Dam has been completed.
The opposition Sierra Leone People’s Party ( SLPP ) has a monumental mountain to climb to convince the people of Sierra Leone and the international community that the Ernest Koroma Government has done nothing for the nation since its took the reins of power via democratic elections in 2007. Pictures do not lie and they tell the story of a thousand words. The Sierra Leonean people are quite right to say that “De Pa don really woke ” ( Translated : “The Boss” -meaning the President – “has really done his assignment ” ).

My fellow Sierraleonean, i recomend that President Koroma deserve another 10 years in power. President Koroma have work more than what was expect, in 2017 our country will be the swiss of africa by the grace of Allah, presently Sierra leone is Africas tourist destination and the counrty is receiving 100,000 tourist par year thats why a team from Geneva have come to build a world tourist destination building in our country, Mr. President , Ma Ma Salone am proud of you keep it up , this is just the smoke the fire is on the way for better nation.

PERSONALLY I COMMEND PRESIDENT KOROMA FOR THE STABILITY IN SIERRA LEONE AND PRAY THAT IT CONTINUES BECAUSE WITHOUT STABILITY THERE WOULD CERTAINLY BE NO PROGRESS. AS FAR AS I AM CONCERN THE WORK THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE IN SIERRA LEONE IS ENDLESS AND IT TAKES MORE THAN JUST THE PRESIDENT TO MAKE SIERRA LEONE A BETTER COUNTRY. I WAS THERE IN DECEMBER 2011 AFTER 29 YEARS I WAS VERY DISSAPOINTED AT THE EASTERN PART OF THE CITY. I AM FROM THAT PART OF THE CITY AND SO I SPENT MOST OF MY TIME THERE. I WAS VERY SURPRISE TO SEE THE STREETS THAT WE USE TO PLAY FOOTBALL ON ARE NOW TRENCHES. THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE ON THE STREETS IT WAS UNBELIEVABLE. THE CONGESTION WAS VERY HARD FOR ME TO DEAL WITH. I HAD A CAR BUT I WOULD RATHER WALK BUT WHEN I WALK I WAS SCARED OF THE OKADAS, WHICH I THINK THEY ARE VERY DANGEROUS AND I WAS WORRIED ABOUT MY FEETS BEING BROKEN. THAT MADE IT VERY DIFFICULT FOR ME TO GET AROUND. I HOPE SIERRA LEONEANS CAN START LOVING EACH OTHER AND RESPECT EACH OTHER A LITTLE MORE AND CONTINUE TO WORK TOGETHER SO THAT THE IMPROVEMENTS THAT HAS BEEN STARTED CAN CONTINUE. AS I SAID EARLIER IT TAKES MORE THAN JUST THE PRESIDENT TO MAKE SIERRA LEONE BETTER AND BE COMPARABLE TO OTHER CITIES IN AFRICA.
ONE OF THE GREASTEST PROBLEMS THAT I NOTICE IN FREETOWN IS THE OVER POPULATION AND THE MUSIC EVERY WHERE IN THE CITY. I WAS WANDERING WHEN DO SCHOOL KIDS HAVE TIME TO STUDY AS YOU ALL KNOW EDUCATION IS STILL THE KEY TO ALMOST EVERY THING IN THE WORLD.
AS I SAID I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE STABILITY IN THE COUNTRY AND I HOPE PRAY THAT CONTINUES.

Looking good. God continue to bless the efforts at Sa. Lone’s restoration and development.She has her North, South, East, and West sections. Kindly post some pictures showing some good roads if any in other parts of the country. Suggestion: Bo-Mattru Jong. Let the infrastructure of well-built roads be in all parts of the “land that we love,our Sierra Leone.” This strategy will act as the catalyst for the advancement of our country.Too much produce[FOOD]is perishing in the Southern Province particularly in the Bonthe District for lack of roads and transportation.Supply and Demand affect Cost and Price and we all know our food bill is HIGH, our local foodstuff portion especially. Imagine that.

This is a very good example for a true leadership we have been looking for. Dr. EBK. recognized the aging problems in Sierra Leone which his predecessors failed to recognize and rectify. In less than five years he corrected most of those serious problems. We now have a beuatiful face-lift of Sierra Leone through the hard work of this great leader. LET ALL SIERRA LEONEANS PUT ASIDE SECTIONALISM, TRIBALISM, APATHY(IF IT EVER EXIST), RELIGION DIFFERENCES, ETC (ALL THE NEGATIVE LISMS) AND HELP PA KOROMA ACHEIVE HIS POSITIVE THINKING OF OUR BELOVED COUNTRY. WE DONT NEED TO DWELL IN THE PAST BECAUSE THERE IS NO ONE I CAN PERSONALLY IDENTIFY AS A GOOD LEADER. I BELEIVE THIS IS OUR TIME AS A NATION TO MOVE FORWARD. ABPP,BBPP, SLPP, ZAPP APC, BPC, ZPC ETC AND ALL OTHER PARTIES PLS LET US DISAGREE TO AGREE SO THAT SIERRA LEONE CAN ONCE BE THE ANTHEM OF AFRICA AGAIN. PA KOROMA I GUESS IS ONE OUT OF THE MILLION THAT IS SHOWING EXACTLY WHAT HE ACHIEVED DURING HIS YEARS OF EUROPEAN LIFE. MAY GOD GIVE HIM THE STRENGTH AND POWER TO CONTINUE HIS GOOD WORKS.
