A Middle-aged California mother said she was kidnapped by her estranged husband and son over the weekend and taken to a church, where she was doused with oil as part of an exorcism ritual.

San Joaquin County Sheriff's officials said 42-year-old Jose Magana-Farias and his son, 20-year-old Victor Farias, thought 41-year-old Bianca Farias was possessed by demons because her behavior had drastically changed recently.

The duo allegedly picked up the woman Saturday in Stockton and got a priest to perform the spiritual cleansing. The clergyman is not expected to face charges.

'Possessed': Bianca Farias, 41, says her husband and son kidnapped her and performed an exorcism on her just because she had left her spouse earlier this year

'Possessed': Bianca Farias, 41, says her husband and son kidnapped her and performed an exorcism on her just because she had left her spouse earlier this year

The father and son are accused of kidnapping, false imprisonment and conspiracy to commit a crime.

Speaking to the station News10, Bianca Farias said she left her husband back in January and has since started dating someone else - a fact that was unacceptable to her estranged spouse.

Magana-Farias arranged to meet with his wife for coffee Saturday to discuss their failed marriage. Besides Victor, 20, the couple also have two middle school-age kids.

At the appointed hour, the father and son picked up the woman in a pickup truck outside the Stockton Walmart and took off. Almost at once, the woman said she knew something was off.

Spiritual cleansing: Jose Magana-Farias and his son (not pictured) are accused of kidnapping the man's ex-wife and performing an exorcism ritual by dousing her with sacred oil to rid her of demons

Spiritual cleansing: Bianca said her husband, Jose Magana-Farias, and their son (not pictured) had a priest douse her with oil and force her to drink the substance until she threw up and fainted

The 41-year-old mother made an attempt to flee, but her husband and son held her down in the backseat while a priest she knew was behind the wheel.

‘They were saying I had three devils inside of me,’ Blanca recounted.

The group drove 47 miles to a church in Bay Point, where Bianca Farias said she was dragged inside against her will.

‘They started bathing me in oil,’ she said. ‘They made me swallow some of that oil.  I was throwing up and this pastor was saying, “You've got the devil. Get off of her, get off of her,” until I fainted.’

The woman was later released unharmed. She said her family thought she was possessed just because she no longer wanted to be with her husband.

Just before the cleansing ritual commenced, Bianca stole a chance to send a text message to her live-in boyfriend, telling him she had been kidnapped.

Occult: Officials said Magana-Farias and his son accompanied by two priests brought the woman to their home in Stockton to perform the ritual

Conclusion: The woman was able to alert her boyfriend via text message that she had been kidnapped, so by the time she was brought home, deputies were already waiting for the father and son

On their way back home, the woman told her husband and son that they are going to regret their actions.

By the time the Farias' pickup truck pulled over in Stockton, a sheriff’s squad car was already waiting outside Bianca’s home.

A 3-in-1 god and now a 3-in-1 devil. Those papists sure are sanctimonious!

I read the article that was linked to this story - it's not a priest, but a Protestant minister (big difference - DM, please learn to care about the difference). In the Catholic Rite of Exorcism, nobody uses oil, much less DRINKS the stuff. Additionally, the actual exorcism is not performed until a full medical and psychological examination takes place because "demons" are very often just mental disorders and the person in need of professional help. These men, on the other hand, are kidnappers and charlatans.

The priest is what is called a "mastermind" behind this kidnapping. They didn't take her to a psychologist.

Why anyone with common sense puts their trust in priests or any preacher of any religion is beyond my comprehension. They are not professionals and are simple souls who¿s only knowledge is from the writings of superstitious people of long ago.

I'm with you. Scary that well educated intelligent people still seem to rely on ancient superstitions and believe crazy nonsense and rituals. World leaders included, scary......
