Gwyneth Paltrow has shared her Christmas gift guide with the world on her website Goop.

And the actress has enlisted the help of some very special youngsters for the children’s section of it.

Gwyneth’s children Apple and Moses have shared the items they hope Santa will be bringing them this year.

Moses, who is seven, is clearly a budding musician as he is asking for an acoustic guitar.

The miniature animal lover also wants a pet hamster and video game Skylanders Swap Force, no doubt like many other little boys.

While contributing to his mother’s guide, Moses said that ‘pretty much everyone wants a Rainbow Loom.’

Rainbow Loom is a kit which helps budding designers create jewellery out of brightly coloured rubber bands.

Apple’s wish list is understandably more mature as she is two years older than her brother.

The nine-year-old says she wants an iPod5 and ‘a LifeProof case for my iPod5 so I can take it underwater.’

The eldest child of Gwyneth, 41, and 36-year-old Chris Martin clearly has a flair for fashion.

Apple also asked for a stylish ‘Kipling rolley backpack’, with her mother sharing a picture of a pretty pink version on her site.

Gwyneth roped in several other children to shed light on what they will be hoping for under the Christmas tree.

‘Our panel of young sophisticates guides us on what they hope their excellent behavior has earned them this year,’ Gwyneth writes. ‘This serves as a guide for anyone in the dark on what to get a kid this year.’

Gwyneth, who of course included her cookbooks as ideas for gifts, revealed that she is very behind on getting presents for everyone this year.

‘Usually by this point in the year, I am well organized, Christmas cards are ready to go, I've got a good jump on the gifts,’ Gwyneth posted. ‘Not this year. I am overwhelmed and a disaster.

‘So our gift guide comes at just the right time, at least for me. We have included some old favorites and some new finds, all of which will make Father Christmas proud.’

If I were her kids I would be asking for some smiles (other than Mamma's Hollywood pasted on one)

She should lay off the sun. She'll end up with skin cancer if she's not careful.

Her children do not want to spend anytime with her anymore though. God, my heart goes out to them. Thank God Chris is stepping up with them....talk about poor little rich kids.

I don't see anything wrong with the items on her kids' wish list at all. That's the kind of things many kids would ask for, and considering how much money she and Chris have, they could be asking for way more expensive and ridiculous things. The rainbow loom that Moses wants only costs $16.49.

To not have to think about choosing between a box of cereal and carton of milk or gas for the car or money for a child's school trip. Does she have any idea whatsoever of how absolutely blessed she and her children are?

It always seems to me that the truly narcissistic people breed with people that look very similar to themselves, to guarantee mini-me's (i.e Gwyneth & Chris, Anna Nicole & Larry Birkhead, Elvis & Pricilla, Madonna & Carlos, Angelina & Brad)....could be wrong, but I could be on to something.....
