They celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary earlier this year, and raise two-year-old daughter Madison together.

And Mel B proved how she keeps the Spice in her marriage as she stepped out on a date night with husband Stephen Belafonte on Thursday.

Slipping into a sexy scarlet pencil dress, the 38-year-old singer looked incredible as the couple grabbed a romantic bite to eat at Matsuhisa restaurant in Beverly Hills, California.

Showcasing her athletic curves in all their glory, the Spice Girls star's figure-hugging frock featured a plunging neckline and contrasting black detailing.

The mother-of-three teamed her red ensemble with a pair of black stiletto heels, while wearing her brunette locks tumbling in loose curls around her shoulders.

Linking arms with her husband as they made their way home from the eatery, the couple looked the picture of happiness as they enjoyed some well-earned quality time together.

And Stephen certainly didn't let Mel down in the sartorial stakes, looking every inch the dapper dude in a tailored navy blue blazer and crisp white shirt.

The film producer completed his look with a pair of belted indigo jeans and grey suede loafers for his evening out on the town.

It's been a busy week for the couple, with Mel jetting between London, Moscow and Los Angeles in the past few days alone.

The star enjoyed a few days in her native England with her daughters with her daughters Angel, Madison and Phoenix, before heading off to Russia to host the 62nd Annual Miss Universe Competition.

Mel and Stephen tied the knot in Las Vegas in June 2007, and welcomed daughter Madison into the world in September 2011.

The Leeds-born singer also has daughter Phoenix, 14, from her marriage to backing dancer Jimmy Gulzar, and Angel, six, from her brief relationship with actor Eddie Murphy.

Meanwhile, Stephen has another daughter from a previous relationship named Giselle.
