Life is sweet for Alessandra Ambrosio following the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

With a year to go until she has to don the barely-there catwalk creations of the lingerie giant once again, the model is making the most of it.

The 32-year-old is certainly putting the annual show diet behind her heading to Pinkberry with her daughter Anja on Friday.

The model and her mini me stepped out in their home town of Brentwood, California, to treat themselves to a big bowl of frozen yoghurt.

Unusually, at first the five-year-old seemed a little hesitant about getting her own cup but after a taste of her mother's plain tart fro yo with crushed nuts on top she was sold on having one all for herself.

The little girl followed her mom's lead by grabbing a big swirl of tart but adding in some chocolate.

After deciding on their flavours the mother daughter duo headed back to their car to enjoy their sweet treats at home.

As Alessandra walked it was not hard to see why she is one of the world's most sought after model.

For their yoghurt play date the star dressed in an all brown ensemble but still managed to stand out.

Drab colour aside, the mother of two - she also has a 19-month-old son Noah - looked stylish in a pair of tight brown jeans, showing off her famously slender legs, with a knitted V-neck sweater and slouchy brown boots.

In contrast to her mother, Anja bought a splash of colour to their snack run wearing a bright red pair of lady bug themed Ugg boots that she wore with a patterned smock dress and white leggings.

Unlike most of the Victoria's Secret models, Alessandra is not one to restrict herself too much and was even shown in footage before the show on Wednesday grabbing a piece of toast before heading down the runway.

But of course she could not go too crazy in the lead up to the world's biggest lingerie show, the 32-year-old told Elle magazine that she knew exactly what she wanted as soon as the catwalk was over.

Just before she walked Alessandra said: 'My friend had her birthday last week and I bought a bunch of cupcakes for her and I didn’t have any, so tomorrow or tonight I want to have cupcakes.'
