It's been just over a year since the two went public with their romance.

And Martin Kristen is clearly an integral part of Heidi Klum's family as he was spotted bonding with his girlfriend's children at a soccer game in Brentwood, California, on Saturday.

Heidi and her burly boyfriend watched six-year-old Johan and nine-year-old Leni compete in a tournament as the youngest child Lou lounged on both adults' laps.

The curly haired youngster also played around on her 40-year-old mother's legs, alternating between an upside down posture and cuddling.

The Germany's Next Top Model host sported high heeled lace up boots and skin tight leather trousers as she looked elegant in a loose black top.

Completing the blonde's attire was a long knit wrap as she kept warm in the November temperatures.

Kristen was more casually attired in blue jeans and a grey hooded jumper.

While little Lou sported a fuzzy red jacket, blue trousers and red laced trainers. Johan and Leni were outfitted in matching soccer uniforms and cleats.

Once the tournament was finished Martin could be seen carrying coolers and the children's sports bag as the family walked back to their car.

Whispers of a budding romance came about in the summer of 2012 when Heidi and Martin were spotted looking very cozy while on vacation in Sardinia, Italy.

By September, Heidi was admitting to the world that she was indeed seeing her bodyguard after her estranged husband Seal said he wished his wife wouldn't 'fornicate with the help.'

The supermodel and the singer had split in January 2012 and by April he had filed for divorce.

The Vogue cover girl had three children with the Grammy winner: Henry, seven, Johan, six, and Lou, three. Heidi's oldest child, daughter Leni, nine, was fathered by European billionaire Flavio Briatore.

Meanwhile, Klum treated Wednesday as a 'take your mother to work day,' letting her mum Erna shadow her on the set of Germany's Next Top Model.

But on Thursday, the supermodel wasn't done with her mother just yet.

Starting bright and early, the 40-year-old took her mum and daughter Lou on a morning coffee run at Starbucks in Santa Monica, California.

While grandma held onto the four-year-old's hand, Heidi was in charge of transporting their pick-me-ups that were perfectly packaged in cheerful holiday cups - that happened to match her red nail polish.

Looking hip, the America's Got Talent judge dressed down in a grey camouflage sweater, charcoal shirt, distressed denim trousers and matching grey sneakers.

Completing her California cool look, the German model straightened her blonde locks and she concealed her eyes with square-shaped aviator sunglasses.

Unfortunately, Heidi's family outing was interrupted with a phone call.

But the doting mother-of-four still kept an eye on her youngster, smiling her direction as she politely held her phone to her ear.

Lou was wearing a black and grey fringed dress, cropped leggings, and Mary Jane-inspired flats, as she enjoyed a scrumptious cake pop.

Certainly appearing like family, Erna matched with the two in a sporty grey sweater, cropped jeans, and slip-on green sandals.

And just like Heidi, her golden locks were blow-dried and her eyes remained covered with sunglasses.

This was the third day in a row that Erna got to spend quality time with her famous daughter, as two days prior, the former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model had brought her along to work.

Heidi has also been devoting her time to charity efforts, as it was recently announced that the supermodel donated pieces from her Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week wardrobe to FashionProject.com to support the Foundation For AIDS Research, amfAR,

its nothing unusual for families to spend a lot of time together but it seems as wealthy & "popular" as she is, she tries to make life as down to earth as possible for her kids. I have seen them out & about before & literally the same crew that you see in any posts about her were the ones I saw her with. she takes them all.
