Former MTV Buckwild star Anna Davis arrested for aggravated DUI in West Virginia

Known as the 'wild child' on the now-cancelled show, Buckwild star Anna Davis is in trouble again.

The 23-year-old was arrested for aggravated DUI in the early hours of Saturday morning after being pulled over by police in Kanawha County, West Virginia.

Davis was later released from jail on a $1,000 personal recognizance - or PR - bond, meaning that she didn't have to pay anything, just promise to show up in court.

TMZ reported the news of 5'11" Anna's arrest on Saturday, but details were still emerging over why she was pulled over or what her blood alcohol limit was.

However, under West Virginia law, a charge of aggravated DUI is handed down if a person has an alcohol level of 0.15 per cent or more.

It leads to harsher punishment, including a jail sentence ranging from two days to six months, a mandatory license suspension of 45 days, followed by a mandatory ignition interlock device in any vehicle driven for 270 days, according to LegalInfo.com.

Davis was a key cast member of the drama-ridden reality show that was canceled by MTV last April following the tragic death of star Shain Gandee.

The program had been following the lives of nine young people living in rural West Virginia but was abruptly halted when Gandee, 21, his 48-year-old uncle, David Gandee, and 27-year-old friend Donald Robert Myers were found dead April 1 in an SUV that was partially submerged in a deep mud pit near Sissonville.

Autopsies determined that all three died of carbon monoxide poisoning, possibly caused by the vehicle's tailpipe being submerged in mud.

Having been compared to Jersey Shore in the countryside, the wild antics of the redneck bunch shocked even MTV executives.

Among a cast of wild partying and heavy-drinking twentysomethings, Anna was known as a wild child and dubbed the 'ringleader' in the show description.

'Basically, there’s no rules...there’s no consequences to our actions,' the tanning employee said about her rural upbringing, , and described herself as 'funny, outgoing, honest, loyal,' according to the New York Daily News.

Davis is not the first cast member to be busted for drunk driving.

In February, Michael 'Bluefoot' Burford was arrested in Charleston, West Virginia, and also charged with aggravated DUI.

Co-star Salwa Amin was arrested a week earlier for drug possession with intent to deliver.

And no one mentions Shane gandee... Who, after a night at the bar, died from carbon monoxide poisoning while his truck was stuck in mud???!!!???.. Prob the only reason why anyone would know this show!!!
