Shoppers in line for the brand-new PlayStation 4 in a Dallas Walmart got a huge double surprise late on Thursday night.

First Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant walked in. Then he purchased five PS4s. The NFL star dug deep to buy one for each of the lucky four customers in line, and one for himself.

The consoles were officially released at midnight and retailed for £399. But while Bryant's generous gesture didn't come cheap, he has received lots of praise online.

I think it's awesome. And for all we know he does donate to charity. It amazed me that some people would find something negative to say about this.

That is far from a "peace" sign. The ignorance of America can be quite shameful at times.

"Everyone in line" sounds like a lot. Then it turns out to be just the people in the checkout lane with him. Nice act but He'd be better off donating those to the children's ward of a hospital or something.

My only complaint about this is that he went to a Dallas Walmart, instead of the one in Lucas where I was at.

I think everyone who shops at that Walmart and considered buying a PS4 that day but decided against is kicking themselves.
