It's a cover-up! Pregnant stylist Rachel Zoe dresses her bump in a flared grey peacoat as she works high platform boots

As a celebrity fashion adviser Rachel Zoe was clearly set to be a stylish mum-to-be.

And Rachel, who is nine-months pregnant, looked as chic as ever as she picked her son Skyler up from school in West Hollywood on Monday. 

The stylist showed little sign of her baby bump in an oversized grey peacoat with a fur collar, while she added a gold necklace and some round sunglasses.

Putting style before comfort she wore black suede spike-heeled platform boots for a cool winter look.

She seemed to have left her handbag in her car, carrying her two-year-old son Skyler's cute giraffe packpack.

On Wednesday the svelte stylist was once again playing a game of hide the bump as she and her family headed out for frozen yoghurt in Beverly Hills, California.

With Los Angeles' temperatures hitting an amazing fall high of 92 degrees, the family stopped in at Froyo Life for a little relief from the heat - well Rodger and Skyler did at least.

Rachel Zoe meanwhile seemed impervious to the sweltering conditions covering up in a long black and nude jersey material T-shirt, a pair of distressed jeans with an enormous flare and, inexplicably, a cropped leather sleeved jacket.

The 42-year-old told Us Weekly: 'I mean, I'm literally 9 months pregnant so this I think will probably be one of my last outings. I'm going into hibernation.'

Despite her many layers on Wednesday - and the fact she is due any day -  the star managed to look fresh and unflustered, wearing her long blonde hair out with a slight curl and her now trademark eyebrow skimming heavy bangs just skirting across the top of her round lensed sunglasses.

In contrast, her husband and son dressed for the hot temps with Rodger donning a pair of khaki shorts with a purple T-shirt while their two-year-old wore a pair of blue shorts with a black tank, black leather moccasins and a straw fedora.

With just days until her second child arrives - from her weekend baby shower it is believed the stylist is having another boy - Rachel Zoe seems to be not only eagerly awaiting a little new friend for Skyler, but is also repairing old friendships.

On Thursday Radaronline reported the Rachel Zoe Project star has patched things up with her former assistant turned style nemesis Brad Goreski.

A source revealed to the website that there had been a 'distinct thaw' in their relationship, and they may even work together again.

The source said: 'Being a mum again has mellowed Rachel, and she wants Brad back in the family, even if he can be this hyper-competitive perfectionist who makes her second guess her own work.

'Brad likes being his own boss, but he and Rachel have both had to deal with the loss of clients this past year to rising star stylists, so joining forces with Rachel, even temporarily, could give him a leg up in the season.

'But the first step is fixing the friendship.'

In the first photograph nobody would be giving up their seat for her as she does not look pregnant at all! this is not a negative comment just observational. it sounds like she loves being a mum to her little son and is enjoying having children later in life.
