When it comes to their careers, they are worlds apart.
But Black Eyed Peas frontwoman Fergie and her husband, actor Josh Duhamel, have now joined forces to collaborate for a very special audience - their newborn son.
The singer revealed in an interview on Monday that she and her handsome hubby have been writing songs together to sing to their baby boy Axl.

Collaborating: Fergie has revealed that she and her husband Josh Duhamel have been writing songs together to sing to their newborn son Axl
'We have our own little home-written songs,' Fergie said, noting that their three-month-old loves their 'little ditties.'
'We harmonize and we sing together,' the songstress said, before singing part of one tune that began with 'Baby you're my baby'.
'We can be quite corny,' she said.

While Fergie usually sings 'Silent Night' to put Axl to sleep, the couple have also been playing Rockabye Baby! CDs for their little one, with music featuring artists such as Bob Marley and Led Zeppelin.
The Duchess star has also introduced Axl to 'mommy's rap music', including the likes of Kendrick Lamar.
As for curse words in the rap songs, she said: 'I have to figure out how I'm going to deal with that cause mommy loves her rap.'
Axl is the couple's first child, but the mother-of-one says she and Josh would like to expand their brood in the near future, but will be stopping at two.
The 38-year-old singer said being in 'mommy mode' is what prompted her to partner with Unilever's Project Sunlight campaign, which launched on Wednesday in conjunction with Universal Children's Day.
She said the initiative is about making the planet a better place for children.
'I have an urge to help children everywhere,' she said.
Project Sunlight encourages individuals to take steps 'to live more sustainably.'
As part of the initiative, UNICEF, the World Food Programme and Save the Children are providing school meals, safe drinking and hygiene education to 2 million children worldwide.
Fergie said she and Josh are taking steps to 'create a brighter future for our children' by driving a hybrid vehicle, recycling and planting an organic garden at their home.

Meanwhile, the star said that she is considering returning to work on a solo album at some point in the future.
'I've got my notebooks, I've got my iPhone and I've got ideas.'
But will any of the songs she and Josh co-wrote be included?
'You never know,' she said with a laugh. 'Maybe we'll put them on as interludes.'
