He passed away back in 2004 with a legacy of hit films and legions of fans who loved his stand up routine and catchphrase 'I don't get no respect.'

But Rodney Dangerfield's widow Joan has a slightly more unusual way of remembering her late husband.

The 60-year-old keeps a bottle of Rodney's sweat in her refrigerator.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Joan reveals that Rodney first got the idea to collect his sweat after leaning that a handkerchief stained with Elvis Presley's perspiration was sold for a lot of money.

'Rodney had a eureka moment,' she recalls. 'He said, "I sweat more than anybody. My sweat has to be as good as Elvis' sweat, right?'" and he would sweat a lot up there on stage. So my job became the sweat collector.'

Joan collected Rodney's sweat through the trusty method of sponge and a spoon. 'I'd collect his sweat - about an inch at a time,' she explains. 'I thought we could water it down but he said, "No, that wouldn't be right."'

According to the website, Joan ordered hundreds of perfume sample bottles and still keeps the 'cloudy fluid' in a tupperware container which she showed off to the website in a video interview.

'It means a lot to me,' she says. 'I do know how hard he worked to make people laugh.'

However, the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, where Rodney performed a lot in his later years, wasn't too keen on the sweat operation. 'They said, "no, we couldn't offer that sweat,"' says Joan. 'They said there was an insurance issue. Rodney was crestfallen.'

Rodney died back in 2004 at the age of 82 and Joan launches a new website Rodney.com on Friday November 22 - her late husband's birthday.

The site features the star's handwritten jokes and photos of him with comedians Adam Sandler and Bill Gates and will be the 'one place where you could find everything about Rodney you ever wanted to know or see.'

Born Jacob Rodney Cohen in New York 1921, Rodney became a surprise hit of The Ed Sullivan Show in the 1960s and went on to appear in films Caddyshack and Easy Money in the 1980s.

I remember a funny scene in Caddyshack when Rodney's character dropped the anchor from his gin palace through the classic yacht owned by his rival. "Hey! You scratched my anchor!"

Crazy widow aside, he was a sorely under-appreciated comedic genius.

To each his own I guess. I could have gone whole life not knowing this having any desire to know. is widow has natural beauty, but too much extra work has been done on top of it, creating a plastic image.
