'My best photobomb ever!' Zach Braff channels Wally as he sneaks into couple's wedding photo

From a distance he is hard to identify.

But Scrubs star Zach Braff did not quite manage to blend into the crowd as he had a Where's Wally moment while a couple had a wedding photo taken in New York this week.

The cheeky actor shamelessly grinned at the camera while strolling past when what should have been a touching picture was being taken at a pedestrian crossing.

The photographer who took the image could not believe his eyes when he saw the performer photobombing as he crossed the road.

And the snapper, named Sascha Reinking, sent him a joky tweet where he congratulated him for his efforts.

He said: 'Sir, I think you photobombed my newlywed couple the other day in New York. :) Well played...'

And the delighted filmmaker soon gave a jovial response, telling his new friend: 'This is one of my best photobombs ever.'

While he is best known for his 10 year stint as John 'J.D.' Dorian in Scrubs, he is currently launching a successful second career as a director.

His 2004 indie film Garden State won a slew of awards, while he is currently filming his latest project Wish I Was Here.

The enterprising star raised $3.1m after launching a Kickstarter campaign back in April, raking in far more than his $2m target.

If that couple has a good sense of humor, they'll have a really cool story to go along with everything else on that day! I think it's hilarious!

Photobombing should be outlawed, along with selfies or anything to do with the Kardashians.
