It was just last week that she paraded her figure in lingerie at the Victoria's Secret annual fashion show.

But Karlie Kloss proved she can pull off high fashion with equal aplomb.

The 21-year-old swept through the Museum Of Natural History Gala in New York on Thursday in a dramatic satin and lace dress.

The 6ft 1in model looked sensational in the unusual frock, which featured a satin skirt and a long-sleeved lace top.

The dress sported a thin black band that showed off her tiny waist and she added a further boost of height to her already tall frame with pointy black heels.

Karlie wore her famous honey-blonde bob sleek and straight and kept her make-up natural, adding a slick of pink gloss for colour.

But the 43-year-old more than made up for it with her glamorous curls and soft, sophisticated make-up.

She posed with her husband of 12 years, Jeff Richmond, who looked dapper in a black suit.

The 28-year-old wore her blonde hair in loose curls and upped the glamour with crimson lips.

I agree, not much there... none of the dresses seem to steal the show, so I award Mr. McEnroe with best dressed... lol.. love that guy, he was my idol when I was a kid... cost mom a lot of tennis rackets but... worth it.. lol.
