Jimmy Stewart was the sort of man kids should have considered as a role model. Don't we wish guys like this were still around to guide the next generation because something has really gone amiss. How do we recapture that innocence and honor?

Hugh definitely reassembles his mother. He's taken a very mature outlook about the way she left the family and I suspect this is why he's so happily married himself. He's a really good guy!

She is a beautiful girl, for a fact. Let's just hope Larry can continue to keep them sequestered in Kentucky or wherever because she's only seven now. Wait until she hits her teens and everyone comes knocking at their door. He seems to be doing a good job raising his little girl, so far and there is no doubt he's her real father because she looks so much like him. I give him a lot of credit on that note and wish the both of them much happiness.

I, for one, am glad to hear that Mama Hippo made off without any serious injuries ( of course we don't really know this for sure because she could have broken something landing that hard). Amazing how huge that bull elephant is when you see him up next to the hippo...Wow!

I believe in some parts of the country a pregnant woman who uses alcohol and/ or drugs while pregnant can be charged with child endangerment or child abuse. Why no one has gone after her ( or both of them for that matter) is a good question.

Where are the Grandparents? Of course Charlie's parents know what he's like and are they willing to jump into the middle of this mess? We don't know anything about Brooke's family aside from this brother who has suddenly stepped forward and said he will assume custody of the twins. One assumes Child Protective Services has vetted him but how frequently have the boys even spent time with him before this? Is he married or with a partner and is that person on board? If they have other children they still have to be concerned about the potential violent behavior Denise has reported. It's a real mess....

Do we really need to know this?

Queen Beatrix was very fortunate to have such a competent and popular heir that she was able to step down and pass the throne along to him. I wonder if Queen Elizabeth would consider doing this if she believed Charles was more accepted by the British people. She's got quite a dilemma on her hands in that she really doesn't have any such option. Or, is she sticking to that silly promise she made so long ago when she was still an un married girl to serve her country all of her life? I think people would understand if she simply said, " I'm tired and I need to retire." It's just that the people love her.....and they don't much care for Charles...let alone his wife.

How on Earth did they manage to keep this under cover? Nowadays , it would be all over the news....especially to the degree this was taking place.

Every year...we are reminded of the devastation that can be caused by nature...it's just unbelievable. We know, in time, they will re- build and go on with life but looking at these photos it's hard to imagine that now. I feel for the animals, too because they will be left unattended without food or care. I imagine many people will resort to eating dogs because food is in short supply . Survival is what you think about in a situation like this.

Oh well....it's not to be a girl but maybe she will start dressing her older boy as a proper boy and focus on the new one. It will be interesting to see what baby number two looks like because he's sure going to have big shoes to fill compared to big brother. Mostly, just wishing Rachel a healthy little one.

I totally agree. She is so gorgeous but this dress is completely wrong for her; bad length and shape. Plus the shoes are ugly.

And now they want another one?

Good for them. Let's just hope the mother can keep control of her own health issues so she's able to live a long and health life with her gorgeous daughter.

I hope it's not a foreshadowing of anything in the near future because most of us seem to agree it would seem unnatural to see the Queen without her devoted Prince by her side. They've been a team for so long. But, when the time comes, his ( and the Queen's ) wishes should be followed.

Ceremonies like these are when I think the British are way ahead of Americans. I think it's because of the Royals and proper ceremony which we lack. Here we don't even have one specific day set aside for our " Remembrance " Day. It's called Veterans Day but to accommodate everyone it has been shifted to a Monday holiday . When I was growing up in the 1950's there were always parades and a ceremony at the park flagpole but now there is little interest in that. I think Vietnam changed things and veterans lost status over here. Somehow, as a nation, we've never really come back together after that. We've gone to these other " wars" in the Middle East and Afghanistan and they arent supported either. Veterans seem to be forgotten and we've squandered their lives for naught. Our government should be brought up for war crimes.

Can't people just appreciate the fact that were lucky to have him, still? There are only a few true musical legends still living and still making good music and he is one of them. Be happy you're still able to partake in hearing him if you so desire. If he's not your cup of tea, you don't have to listen. If, like me, you were 13 in 1963 , then you know the influence the Beatles made on the world. It was remarkable how they and the entire British music invasion changed the music scene forever. What's even more amazing is how little Paul has changed over the years. I think he's aged quite well ( and so has Ringo).

Pay attention....she picked it up and she's carrying it in the plastic bag in her hand. Responsible dog owner, that one.
