There she blows! Marcia Cross' hair gets caught by a gust of wind during shopping trip

Marcia Cross proves she's natural beauty, even when she's battling mother nature.

The 51-year-old lost control of her red locks as they got caught in a wind spell at the Brentwood Country Mart on Friday.

The wind kicked up as she walked to her car with shopping bags from Calypso St. Barth.

The red-headed actress was bundled up for the cool wind in a jacket and scarf with denim blue jeans and Ugg boots.

But Marcia didn't seem to mind as she laughed off the hair fiasco, taking it all in her stride.

Meanwhile, her stockbroker husband Tom Mahoney and six-year-old twin daughters Savannah and Eden were not with her as she was out and about.

The actress, famous for her portrayal of Desperate Housewives favourite Bree Van de Kamp, was previously married to longtime love Richard Jordan, but he sadly passed away in 1993.

Marcia married Tom in 2006, and their twin girls were born in February 2007.

At the time she was working long days on Desperate Housewives, but she is now a full time mother to the girls.

After eight seasons on the popular drama, Marcia has said that she doesn't plan on taking on any acting roles in the near future so she can concentrate on her daughters.

She said in a recent interview: 'During the show I got married, I had twins and I took care of my husband at one point when he was sick.

'I went from thinking I was giving up my acting career to working on a hugely successful show.'
