Florence Welch continues to show her penchant for bohemian style, by stepping out in a floral bomber jacket.

The award-winning singer was out in New York on Friday, on her way to High Line Park to enjoy an afternoon stroll.

Looking effortlessly chic, Florence, 28, chatted on her phone as she took in the aerial landscape of New York.

The Singer wore black trousers with a white shirt, buttoned up in the seventies style Welch wears so well.

Even her boots had the retro heel indicative of the era her wardrobe champions, to complete her chic off-duty look for her walk in the park.

The High Line is a 1-mile linear park that was built upon a section of the elevated former New York Central Railroad spur called the West Side Line.

It runs along the lower west side of Manhattan and was given a green makeover to turn it into a public park with aerial views of the city.

The notoriously private singer has divided her time between London and New York as she enjoys an extended period of time away from the limelight.

Lungs, her last album with Florence + The Machine, was released in 2011 and the singer has since loaned her voice to a string of singles by other artists.

In 2012 she featured as a guest vocalist on Calvin Harris track Sweet Nothing, while A$AP Rocky used her talents on I Come Apart – a track from his debut album, Love Live A$AP.

Florence will also appear in a currently untitled new film from maverick director Terrence Malick when it goes on general release next year.

The forthcoming movie, described as a ‘musical drama’, will feature a stellar cast including Ryan Gosling, Michael Fassbender, Natalie Portman and Cate Blanchett.

28?! Seriously?! I actually thought she was much older!! Don't get me wrong, she is one of my favourite performers & I love her style but I think it does age her a bit.
