American Horror Story's resident witch Emma Roberts has legs like broomsticks in skinny jeans

Emma Roberts stepped out of the coven and into a pair of skinny jeans for a lunch outing on Friday.

The 22-year-old actress was back in Hollywood, taking a break from filming FX show American Horror Story: Coven, which is shooting in New Orleans.

But even though she was taking a break from playing her witchy alter-ego Madison Montgomery, Emma's legs did look frightfully slender in a pair of very tight jeans.

Emma, who is dating her co-star Evan Peters in real life, was joined by a female pal for the outing.

She teamed her denims with a black, white and grey jumper and hid behind a pair of shades, her tied back in a loose ponytail.

Emma, who is the niece of Julia Roberts, has made a return to American Horror Story after her character was killed off earlier in the season.

By the magic of witchcraft, Madison was brought back to life by some of her fellow hags.

In the latest episodes she engaged in three-way sex with co-star and boyfriend Evan and Taissa Farmiga.

Speaking about her character to E! Online's Spoiler Chat column, Emma said: 'There is so much happening with Madison on American Horror Story. I can't wait for you guys to see.

'I can't really divulge too much but every week when I get my script, I actually am shocked. So you guys will be probably even more shocked!

'The twists are out of control and the characters just get better and better.'

she's a tiny wee thing at the best of times ... american horror story is not a good series for her to be a part of. She needs to get into lighter work with happier energy instead of that insane madness. It's messing with her health
