Forget your brush? Dannii Minogue sports wild, voluminous hair as she drags her own luggage through the airport

She’s usually preened to perfection, but Dannii Minogue, 42, suffered from a serious case of bed-head as she arrived in Melbourne airport carrying her own luggage.

The star, who arrived at the Australian airport on Sunday, had an extremely voluminous barnet, like nothing we’ve ever seen the former X Factor UK star sporting.

Her usual style is a chic brunette bob that she tends to keep sleek and stylish – but this textured style is a new look for Dannii.

It was a good job Dannii exchanged her usual stilettos for flat biker boots, as she carried her own luggage through the airport.

The star began by dragging the large suitcase on its inbuilt wheels and then stopped to find a trolley to help her push the heavy load.

Despite all this, the Put The Needle On It star looked happy and relaxed as she arrived at her childhood home of Melbourne.

It could be an exciting festive season for the singer, as she recorded a duet of Santa Claus Is Coming To Town with X Factor Australia co-star Ronan Keating in September.

The star is currently mentoring the over-24’s on the current series of The X Factor – and she roped in older sister Kylie to assist her in deciding who to take through to the next round.

Kylie previously worked with her sister when she picked her final three while working as a judge on the UK version in 2009, and she admits coming back was a no brainer.

‘Dannii is so good at this, I’m just along for the ride. It’s really fun to do something together, so it was a done deal when she asked me,’ she said recently.

Dannii has one young son Ethan with former professional rugby player Kris Smith.

Australian X Factor finished 2 weeks ago, and her act won (again). That's 3x wins now Mr Cowell. Bring her back to the UK to at least give the UK X Factor some semblance of integrity.
