Ronald de Wolf of Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI) in Amsterdam has received a prestigious ERC Consolidator Grant for quantum computing research. De Wolf was awarded the individual grant of approximately €1.5 million for his research project 'Progress in quantum computing: Algorithms, communication and applications'.
