She's a brand new mother and doting wife, so Petra Ecclestone clearly understands the importance of quality family time.

Which would explain why the blonde heiress was joined by her baby Lavinia and husband James at a high-end restaurant in Beverly Hills, California, yesterday.

The trio were seen dining at popular celeb haunt Cecconi's on Saturday for a special day together in one of LA's most acclaimed eateries.

The restaurant, located on the corner of Melrose Avenue and Robertson Boulevard in West Hollywood, has previously hosted the likes of Kate Beckinsale, Claire Danes and Anna Friel.

Wearing huge, over-sized sunglasses, the 24 year-old looked glamorous, despite sporting a fashion faux pas in the form of double-denim.

This is a mortal sin in the world of fashion, but it's particularly poor form for Petra, whose mother is the former Armani model Slavica Ecclestone.

She teamed the look with pebble-effect slip-on shoes and a cascade of blonde waves.

Her husband, James Stunt, was equally casual wearing indigo jeans with a grey, long-sleeved T-shirt. He matched the look with bizarre, Regal-looking slip-ons and a white hat.

Meanwhile, baby Lavinia looked adorable as she wore a dusty pink dress with a white collar and matching tights.

Petra, who splits her time between LA and London, has only just returned from a trip to the UK where she visited pregnant sister Tamara.

Tamara, who is currently around four months pregnant, is expecting her first child with husband Jay Rutland, who she married in a lavish ceremony in the south of France this summer.

The girls are both daughters of Formula 1 tycoon Bernie Ecclestone.
